I do believe that 2008 will be there year for PS3 ... hope the 360 is ready for tiddle wave of titles that I know the 360 has no answers for. That was the mistake Microsoft made at E3. At their press conference, they gave no idea of what's in store for 08.

next gen for Sony is next gen audio. What's wrong with that? I think the point behind this is that next gen audio is inclusive of next gen gaming. Sure, purest gamers will not care much about it. Does that make it unnecessary?
what justifies blue ray? Well ... Sony is making a statement with Heavenly Sword and Lair. Could they both be done on the 360 ... yes but with some corners cut.
If you have both, you won't need to pick and choose which side of the fanboy fence.

TW on the PS3 plays at 30 fps ... EA devs complain about getting one character to animate at 60 frames
I don't ever see EA doing 1080p on any of their sports games. They will stick to the Microsoft sweet spot of 720p.
and football (american) is more complex? Yes, is there a lot going on with the environment (weather, stadium, etc) but I'd say that 60 fps is quite possible. FIFA 2008 (confirmed at 60 fps) has those same environments (probably minus the snow). In soccer its 11 on 11. Football plays are scripted with AI triggered on situational variables. Football crowds are not as dynamic as soccer crowds.

Gabe Newell is too fat and lazy to do any real work. The 360 is a PC. Just bring the code over and recompile. Its as simple as that. The PS3 is challenging because its different. The Wii is challenging because its different.

Who to believe? That's the question. It seems reviewers were proven wrong by the gamers with Warhawk. I have no doubt that they will be proven wrong with Lair.

1. What exactly is the color of a dragon? I don't really know the story of Lair or if its required for you to keep the same dragon throughout the game but choosing a dragon color specific to the level would be cool. I equate this issue to playing a Locust in the Bullet Marsh level in...
