To have a mini site dedicated to the launch by a general gaming site? There is no denying the popularity of Halo. I wonder if there is another title that 1up or EGM would do this for. It is quite transparent their affectionate love for Halo. No wonder they dogged the Killzone 2 AI.
Support for higher level stream quality. If the home network can support HD quality streams, why not give it as an option? I do agree that PSP2 will take this even further. This is great for me because I get bumped off my TV cause the wife wants to watch a movie. Now, I could just turn on my PSP and continue playing. Bet you can't do that DS ;)

toolset for PS3 is EDGE, perfect fit. Yes, I know my rational for it being a PS3 exclusive is dumb. Star Ocean is HUGE in Japan. Its either for the Wii or for the PS3. Judging from the screens, doesn't look like a Wii title.

Icewake ... probably burns you inside that these two games are still going to sell millions worldwide. I wasn't sold on Lair until it was confirmed that I could play the game using a standard USB controller or even via Remote Play. I was already sold on Heavenly Sword with the demo.

If there is anything that would impede the progression of the 360 in the North American market, its a $100.00 price cut (another one) from Sony. That is .. even with a further price cut from Microsoft, buying a PS3 for $399.99 would be hard to pass on.

It's a libarary of classic titles that Microsoft doesn't have. Why not sell them on the PSN? The more the merrier as it will give the PSN more substance.
I just finished Resident Evil 4 again playing on my PS3 upconverted. Old game, yes. Good game, yes. Point is, thanks Ubi for worthwhile port. Keep it up. GRAW3 is welcome of course but not everyone has a 360 or has played a GRAW game.

If this is indeed going to be the model, people will HAVE to WANT to PLAY this game. It needs a WOW like effect on people for them to fork over cash for bullets.
I see the building blocks of a phenominal sequel. There is no doubt that I'll pick up this game to showcase the PS3. I have a lot of respect for Factor 5 and the epic scale of this game is unparalleled. When I say epic, I'm not talking about gameplay time. Its the lush, large, detailed maps in Lair. Its the vision of macro/micro gameplay with no detail deterioration. I haven't played a dragon game since the original Panzer on the Saturn.

I'm a fan of Sony but not a fanboy. I respect the Halo series. A good game is a good game. I don't flame but I guess you are asking for it.
To finish the fight ... Prefer Gears over Halo for multiplayer.
