Really. I am appreciative of the concern given to the release of the Orange Box for the PS3. I really am. My heart is just so warm right now knowing that TheMart and company takes a genuine interest in my gaming satisfaction.

The Game of the Year is Assassin's Creed. I'll tell you why. This game is expanding stealth games. It proposes the concept of social stealth. It pits you in a large sandbox world where you dictate your path. It provides hours of entertainment outside of the story. I have never seen a game that goes into this much detail and in such a grand scale.

I was intrigued to look at em. Everyone likes to compare. Its human nature. What it does expose is the inconsistency of ports. It does show the strengths and weaknesses of both system. It also shows the 'work in progress' view of porting 360/PC code to the PS3. I bet you'll see less of a difference in round 6 and going forward. Eurogamer should also look into the first part titles.

When I think of co-op, I think of Mario and Luigi in the same level controlled by 2 individuals. I see tag team fireballs and extra distance jumps (with assistance). I see true cooperative play. I don't think Miyamoto is there yet.
This is a comparison of textures isn't it? Not what has better AA? It seems you folks are confusing the two. While the floor textures are ugly when 2 inches away, it is fine during normal gameplay. The floor textures, ableit it slightly rough on the edges, does provide an appearance of seperation between stones. When playing 5-10 feet away, it is a joy to look at. The 360 version seems to have flatter and less complex textures but is AA well. Whether you are 5 inches away or 5 feet away...
Question, does Team Xbox score factor into the metacritic score? If so, isn't it nice knowing the the 360 version will have a higher critical score than the PS3 version.

Its about porting code, not system power. And Blade saying that the PS3 is the lowest common denominator ... POG called you smart but what you said is quite stupid. I could write a smooth app on PC and then make a crappy port of it on the Mac. This is why a parallel environment is the way to go. Porting code to the 360 would also be much easier given Microsoft's tool kits and support if its not feasible to have a parallel environment.

At its current state, its 'dormant beast'. I bought the 360 at 399.99 when I learned of the PS3 initial selling prices of 499.99 and 599.99. I bought it knowing full well that it will be a future purchase.
