@King_Noctis: agreed. So far I’m having fun, issues aside. Gameplay is pretty good, nice graphics. The game isn’t the best I’ve played but it’s not garbage at all. We’ll see what the future holds for this one.
I disagree but your comment did put a smile on my face, lol
It may reign as king but it’s a poor kingdom. I do have hope for the genre tho. Borderlands proves it can be done.
That grindquest is fixed with the day1 patch, but yeah, this game is getting hard reviews, I was planning on buying this at official release, but I’m gonna wait it out now. Oh well.
I don’t think the engine is the problem here.
Perhaps MS isn’t planning on creating a VR set of their own like Sony does, but add support for Oculus/HTC Vive on Xbox in the future? I dunno. I guess they wait it out a bit, to see if VR truly has a future in games.
@ Knushwood: haven’t played it, but it reminds me of the game Bug on Sega Saturn at the time ;)
Lol, real games? Every game is a game; indies, triple A, action packed, story driven, good or bad depending your taste... Has nothing to do with age if people like Anthem. Wanna talk “real”?? Play board games or CCG’s
It has, Bioware is working on it.
In that case, play the game and then judge. I wasn’t blown away, but had a lot of fun with the demo.
Huxley can be put on the list as well.
It can get really shiny according to Mythbusters?
That was the demo Jin. However, I understand your fears.
Mostly agree. Potential is certainly there. Gunplay felt kinda meh indeed, in the demo at least, but this game leans towards the abilities and the combos I think. I’m not that worried about the story; although a Bioware game, the loot and co op is where the fun is, kinda like Diablo3, who cared about that story? ;)
If you don’t wanna see it, don’t watch it; no spoilers for you then. Some people like to see more, just to get a better image if the game is worth a purchase. Nobody forces you to watch pre release game content or read articles about it.
Each his/her own opinion, but RDR2 was my game of the year despite its flaws, which are not as bad as some people think imo.
Bullshit, I extended my subscription on januari 20, still had to pay 60€ tho.
@MoshA: I’m not gonna debat that. GoW always had amazing gfx and big credit to the developers certainly. However, the amount of detail in RDR 2 as an open living world is stunning and a benchmark for future games in that genre imo. But on other areas RDR2 definitly had some flaws (controls e.g.)
Jak & Dexter had no loading screens on PS2, so nothing new there.
A gaming console is still a great “bang for the buck” gaming device imo, so there is still a reason to buy a xbox along side your playstation or so.
