Console gamers like myself could care less if a game is on the PC. I have a 360 and a PS3 and this year there are more games I want on my 360 than on my PS3, it's as simple as that. I honestly don't see how the PS3's lineup is that amazing. There isn't one game I want as much as I wanted Uncharted 2. God of War 3 is about as good as it gets and that has never been my favorite franchise. I want it, but I'm not dying to play it like I was with U...

All that means is that you may not like the same things as other people, but that is pretty self evident. You might not like the Wii, but obviously those people who bought it like it or they wouldn't have bought it. Same goes for all consoles. Discounting any console simply because it personally isn't your favorite is wrong.

Nonsense. Even if the 360 used Blu-ray there would still be downloadable content for both consoles. They wouldn't make the game take longer to come out just so they could put everything on one disc.
Uncharted 2 is getting downloadable content, so what's the excuse there? By your logic shouldn't they have put it all on the Bluray disc?

No that isn't the reason. The reason is because the Blu-ray drive in the PS3 is slower than the 360's DVD drive so some developers are not able to get the PS3 versions running close enough to the 360 versions without using a mandatory installation.
Actually the PC version was canceled a while ago. Alan Wake is 360 only.

Actually, I don't think I am going to bother. I will just say this, Bluray is available for every game on the PS3, but so far PS3 games are no longer than 360 games. PS3 exclusives are not particularly long. Games like Heavenly Sword and Uncharted 1 were actually a little on the short side.

Look at some of these PS3 fans fighting desperately to convince the world that Bluray is some huge boon to gaming, when the reality is it has a very small impact overall. Maybe 3% of the 360's 800+ games have used more than one disc. And you know what? For those few games like Lost Odyssey that did have multiple discs it didn't bother me in the slightest.

You are so full of it. Resistance 1 is a mediocre looking game to me. Even Halo 3 looks better than Resistance.
I have both consoles and I can easily prove it to you. (PM me and I will play you in a PS3 game of your choosing). And if I were to make a list of the top 5 best looking games on consoles there would be 2 360 games, 2 PS3 games, and 1 multiplatform game.

I had a Sony upconverting DVD player that died after only 7 months, but I also have a Sony Trinitron direct view HDTV that has been going strong for about 5 years. It just depends on the product. I would classify this in the urban myth category.

I guess Uncharted 2 got such high scores and all those GOTY awards because PS3 games are treated harsher right? Get real. If some past PS3 games didn't get as good of scores it was because they weren't as good.

Bungie stated on their forum that Halo Reach would have anti-aliasing. I also read somewhere that it will indeed be 720p, but I can't seem to find that article now.
You are an idiot. PS3 has Bluray, yet its games are no longer than 360 games on average. In fact, some PS3 games like Heavenly Sword are downright short.
I own both consoles and I have not seen any significant advantage to Bluray for games.
Most current gen games simply don't need that much space and the few that do can easily use multiple discs.
