Exactly, ShadowCK. I have seen mostly very positive comments from those that have actually had hands on time with it. I think it has a lot of potential. I can't wait to see what devs do with it.

I bet you it won't. It might look slightly better because it will have been made later (sequels always look at least a little better than their predecessors), but I bet there will be no significant difference between the two.

Yeah, but that is 6.8GB just for game content. They still have to spread the game over several discs anyway, so why in the world would they limit content because of the 360. It is a really weak argument.

5890d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

For the same reason that most games don't fill up a DVD9.

5890d ago 5 agree0 disagreeView comment

N4Garbage, you bring up a good point. Lost Odyssey has more actual game content than FFXIII and it is a 360 exclusive. That means that blaming the 360 for any perceived lack of content in FFXIII is completely illogical.

All signs point toward one conclusion: FFXIII is the way it is because that is the way Square wanted it to be.

5890d ago 5 agree0 disagreeView comment

What more do you want, Pope? It already almost fills a bluray. What do you want, two blurays?

FFXII Versus is being made solely for the PS3, but if you think it is going to be any different you are going to be sorely disappointed.

Face it, that content was cut out because it was junk content. It didn't work, so they cut it out.

Absolutely. Plasma is the way to go. All LCDs, whether they use LED or CCFT, they all have problems inherent to LCD technology. They can try to cover it up with a bunch of gimmicky features, but it doesn't hide the fact that you can get deep blacks, fast response times, great contrast, better color reproduction and little to no motion blur with a Plasma for less money. The only issue I have with plasma is that you can still get some image retention and even burn in, but it is a much small...

Jijoro, it does not look like sh*t. Please don't stoop to their level. It looks really good, it just doesn't look as good as they are saying.

I agree, Sackboi. The graphical demands put on a game like Alan Wake are very different than in a game like Heavy Rain. For that reason they aren't directly comparable.

5892d ago 2 agree7 disagreeView comment

I wouldn't expect you to say any different. I think they both look about the same, but Alan Wake is dynamic and has more open environments so I think it has the edge. And my eyesight is 20/20, thank you very much.

You might think that, but other people might think something else. In fact, I do think something else.

If you guys hate the 360 so much, why not just stay out of these articles? You bring nothing of value here. All you do is evangelize for your preferred console in a very biased and exaggerated way.

5892d ago 4 agree3 disagreeView comment

Fair enough. But I can't say I agree. I have both consoles and I like them both, but I do prefer Xbox Live and the 360 in general. There are also more games coming out on the 360 that I am excited for than on the PS3.

5892d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

It is an idiotic comment. The 360 has over 800 games available for it, far more than either the PS3 or Wii.

Trying to say the 360 has no games is like trying to say the Sun is small compared to the Earth.

5892d ago 5 agree5 disagreeView comment

Yeah, they were. But John Carmack also said that the larger capacity of Blu-ray discs was the only advantage that the PS3 had over the 360.

Carmack said, "...the only real advantage that the PS3 has over the 360, from our point of view, is the extra space."

Yeah, I completely understand the point you are making, but I don't necessarily agree that the PS2 was the better console, at least not for me.

I bought a PS2 the very day it came out and for a long time there was almost nothing I wanted to play on it. Later more games started to come along and there were some games like Onimusha and Tenchu Wrath of Heaven that I really liked, but still many PS2 games were not grabbing a hold of me.

For the first time in my life I...

Blaming the 360 is a cop out. If there is anything wrong with Final Fantasy XIII in terms of its scale or linearity it is solely the fault of Square-Enix. If Elder Scrolls 4, which is absolutely massive and non-linear, can fit on one DVD there is no reason at all that Final Fantasy XIII would have to be compromised.

I am quite certain that the way Final Fantasy XIII is is simply a matter of what Square wanted to do with the game.

@ Action Bastard

I just wanted to point out that what you are saying is not the way it works. If someone makes a claim it is up to them to prove it, not for other people to prove it wrong.

If I claim to the world that I saw Bigfoot and that it really exists then I better have proof to back it up. It isn't up to other people to prove that I didn't see Bigfoot. I mean really, I thought some of you were smarter than this.

There is no proof for what PS3 f...

Heavy Rain uses fixed camera positions and this allows them to put greater detail into the parts of the scene that are in view since it is easier on the processor than having a dynamic camera.

BTW, I love how you find the worst possible image of Gears of War 2 that you can to compare to. You guys are so dishonest.

5895d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

You guys are being naive. The 360 is just as powerful as the PS3 and the only real thing the PS3 has that the 360 doesn't is Blu-ray, which is of little importance for gaming. The importance of Blu-ray for consoles this generation boils down to this and nothing more: a few longer games will be available on one disc on the PS3 whereas the 360 versions will come on 2 or more discs. That's it. Big freakin deal.
Not to mention that the Blu-ray drive in the PS3 is a little slower than th...

Stupid comment. I guess the PS3 is not "present-proof" either, since it is in third place and losing to the Wii which is technology from last generation and the Xbox 360 which is equally powerful as the PS3.

Seriously, what the hell is the matter with some of you?
