In terms of gameplay this trailer got me really excited for this game. And the graphics put everything else to shame. Of course this was the PC version, though.
I just hope they were at least able to get rid of the screen tearing that was seen in the 360 version's multiplayer videos. I hate screen tearing and that is why I really appreciate PS3 exclusives like Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 that have zero screen tearing.

Not just the PS3's best year, but I would have to say that it's the best lineup in one year that we have seen from any console this generation.
Yeah, there is no doubt that the PS3's lineup completely dwarfs the 360's lineup next year. No contest. I am looking forward to Gears of War 3 for my 360, but that's it. Everything else is multiplatform or PS3 exclusive.
I am extremely looking forward to Killzone 3. I really enjoyed the first one a lot and it seems like they have made KZ3 even better.

Actually it's exactly opposite. Killzone 3 has been tweaked and definitely looks a little better, but all the basic elements are pretty much the same: lighting, textures, particles, etc.
On the other hand, Gears of War 3 has real-time lighting whereas Gears 2 had no dynamic lighting and shadow system. That right there is a huge difference. It also has a much improved foliage rendering system and better post-processes like motion blur, etc.

I am excited by the prospect of getting to play the game with all the downloadable content on the PS3. I have played the 360 version a lot and in this video it does seem the PS3 versions has crisper visuals in some parts, but at the same time it seemed like the framerate in the gameplay sections they showed was a little more unsteady than in the 360 build and that worries me a bit.
Watching it on this poor quality video it doesn't look as good. On my tv I really noticed all the areas that they have improved, but in this video it is all a little harder to notice.
Believe me, when you see a clear version of it (if you haven't already) it looks much better and you can immediately tell how much better it looks than Uncharted 2.
When I saw it on my tv my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe that they have improved the graphics that much.
Uncharted Drake's Fortune already blew me away, then Uncharted 2 comes along and somehow manages to look better, so at that point I honestly didn't think it would be possible to get much better than that on current hardware. Yet somehow Naughty Dog have made another tremendous leap.

What I didn't like is when he made fun of his accent. That made me cringe. It wasn't funny and it wasted time that we could have been getting more info about Uncharted 3. Why make the guy feel bad about his slight accent?
