Halo isn't about graphics so really, if what we've seen so far is close to the release graphics, then that's about right given that the shots we have seen are average or a bit below that for this gen.

360 owners prefer FPSs to TPSs. Given ME2 is a TPS it's no surprise it's already sinking and with no MP what is there to keep people playing?
I'd like to say that ME2 a good game being unfairly dumped, but personally I think it's overrated. Enjoy the descent ME2 - and send ME3 up as an RPG rather than a clunky TPS, kthxbai.

That video was like licking a battery terminal it made me cringe so much - but at least HHG seems to be enthuisiastic about his gaming and that's something the industry has lost in the last 10 years.
Everyone's a cynic - either way, Yakuza 3 looks pretty cool - I even liked the JP demo despite not understanding what was going on!

After all, you can render a photorealistic scene that is better looking than any other in game shot - but if there's no gameplay, then the scene is utterly redundant.
The *whole point* of graphics comparisons is whether you can push those graphics and have gameplay with it.
If you think a game graphic comparison can exist isolated from any gameplay then you aren't a gamer - just watch films, they have great graphics...

Unless they manage to make Crysis 2 a significantly better *game* than Crysis & Warhead (and for that matter Wars) then U2 has nothing to challenge it still.
Crysis looked good - so did Warhead, but as FPS games - meh. They just aren't that fun.

Indeed. In fact just casually playing through the demo for a few minutes had my wife asking when the game was released and disappointed we couldn't carry on with the investigations....
Now that is what we need more of - games that can keep the adults of the house happy and which you still want to play after an hour (unlike many Wii games...).

I hope Bioware stick to making RPGs in future - this has turned out to be an average TPS albeit with RPG-like elements tacked on.
To describe it as an RPG is a joke really since it bears little resemblance to any modern wRPG - it's linear, shooting/twitch heavy, lacks proper character development and doesn't create a believable universe to explore.

MAG I've played about 30 hours of - it's v. good.
BFBC2 I did PS3 beta, now PC beta and PS3 demo. It doesn't seem that good unfortunately. I have the PC version on pre-order but I think I'll cancel - I don't think I'll play it enough to bother with.
Problem with BFBC2 is big maps...
Judging by recent posts, the PSP version is already done and is also being released as the 360 version :/
Or perhaps the PSP version will be better than the 360 version since SE seem intent on killing their "fan base" on the 360.
