Yes.

According to PD, the websire for that will be activated in December some time. I imagine they have to be careful with server loads while everyone is playing A-Spec online.
On topic : Course maker is a really nice tool and while limited in specific placement of objects has a pretty decent set of customisable options.
No one has really gotten to grips with it online - still too many tracks to play, but I think in a few months this tool will really come into its...
Wow, same sales as Move so 2 smash hits in motion gaming huh?
r.
You'll get dizzy with all that spinning lol.
Just be happy Kintec has got a mention - I thought MS had quietly discontinued it what with the lack of sales, games and interest.
Oh, hang on..... I think there's another GT5 article coming.
r.
Well it's almost the same numbers as Move - and that was described as a flop by some people here....
r.
Yep - good numbers there MS well done, you nearly matched the Move launch. I'd say that's $500 mil well spent and there are some great reviews for those Kintec games now - I saw one get a 5/10 yesterday - WTG
Anywho, can we get back to GT5 news now plz?
r.
Ok we get it, Kintec isn't selling well, $500 mil wasted, blah blah.
Can we get back to the GT5 stuff now please?
r.
Well Dead Nation was supposed to be better because it was made by HouseMarque although the reviews seem to have been variable - some 9s and some 7s and now a 6.
Anywho, those other games are all pretty meh and so are L4D 1 + 2. Unless 3 is going to be much better I'd rather Valve leave it and bring something better to PS3 (after Portal that is).
r.
^^ Relax guys. GT5 is BIG news, the game is great, it's selling well and the noise means everyone's forgotten about....um.... oh yeah Kintec and all those terrible reviews it got.
Look at this site now - the only popular topic for last 2 weeks has been GT5 - nothing is touching it....
Looks like Sony/PD have produced another classic.

The top photo is from photo travel, but all the in-race ones (those featuring damage for example) are from the game with an extra AA pass applied. So that majority of those pics are largely what you see in race.
@Ognipode - so the in tunnel and night ones are in game photo shots just in case you didn't realise :)

This is quite an important topic. Personally I went for an MX5 (NA) and had just enough money to upgrade it and win a few races with it.
However, what I missed doing was spending all my cash for the penniless trophy, so a good tip is to do that straight off.
r.
Hey if it wasn't for Kinect getting a mention in the comments of a GT5 article, it wouldn't get a mention at all :)
GT5 is dominating everything game related right now - it even kicked the biggest FPS off the top spot.
r.
Is it that surprising? GT5 has been the most anticipated game of this generation and now everyone's got an opinion, even the misinformed, the disinterested and the T10 employees lol.
The problem is AAA is thrown around all that time, but I think GT5 is demonstrating what a AAA game is - and so far it's been the only one this gen.
r.
I don' think The Stig has lapped the "reasonably priced car" - he only does the more exotic stuff many of which are modelled in extreme fidelity in GT5.
So jump in.

^^ If you'd played GT5 you'd start to understand - but it seems trolling GT5 articles is more fun for you.
BTW : The wheels for 360 still suck - incl. the Fanatec which is only matched by the 360 itself for breaking (although I do like my clubsport pedals despite the ropey wiring hanging of the back).

The numbers are somewhat interesting, however they've only compared 2 tracks so it's hardly an exhaustive test.
If you can't be bothered to read it, GT5 "wins" (according to the site - seems a rather pointless term here) both comparisons because it is closer to the real world lap times.

This is a publication which claims to report fairly and accurately on the news and in this case offers a review of a product.
Is it too much to ask that they get their factual information verified? Of course not - that is part and parcel of professional journalism. It should be expected the article is factually correct and this one is not.
However, like all the others, this is still a very positive review for GT5 with some misinformation in it - I guess you d...
Well firstly, in most games reviewers get cheats so they can see the whole game without playing it through.
Clearly that hasn't happened with GT5 so it's down to the reviewer's skill with the game what they get to see - not much it turns out since most of them seem utterly unable to complete even the most basic races.
However, it's also clear that most reviewers started the game, went into Arcade, chose a car and track, started races, drove ca...
Looks that way.... I put in a dupe vote.

Well you have to put this stuff in context.
After GT5P (which had a very problematic online element) the whole thing was scrapped and a new team assembled just for the online stuff.
They've given us the biggest thing everyone cried out for with GT5P - lobbies and with them the ability to configure races in various ways.
The lobbies as they are work really well - amazingly so for such a major title right around release date (see the proble...
