Yo, I'm watchin the Patriots/ Colts game and they just showed an Assasin's creed commercial (specifically PS3) I guess its also part of the Sony campaign...Looks good, and it appears all the new Sony ads end with "starting at 399" Really good stuff.

If those are untouched in-game, I'm decently impressed. However, Everything we have seen before has been a jaggy mess. Unless they have implemented MSAA4X, those are not quite representative of gameplay.
Also, while textures are getting closer to E3 05' The lighting is NOWHERE near that level. This is on par with DOA4 lighting-wise. It does look good though.
Yes. When you beat the game challenge mode is unlocked. However, like in previous Rachet games, you keep all the weapons you had before, so unless you intentionally only use weapons in the order you got originally, it won't be nearly that much more difficult.
Great review by the way. Gotta say I saw this coming. More or less all the game sites are accepting that this is a fantastic game, and a must have for PS3 owners. (I loved it! Can't wait for Uncharted).
I am actually speechless...What this reminds me of is those pre-rendered target videos, especially the total smoothness of animation, fantastic voice acting, and natural transition from cut -scene to gameplay--except now it really is real-time. OMG!!!!

I just beat it as well. Fantastic! definitely a 9 to 9.5: no wonder this is getting such good reviews..Gooo Insomniac! I swear that the later 2-3rds of the game is MUCH more impressive than the first though.

As you you guys know, even though I prefer my PS3, I have tried to give the benefit of the doubt to these sites that review PS3 games with low scores...however this really looks suspicious. Of course this game is going to rule, but this site is a total joke and the "reviewer" is a tool. The sixaxis controls for Warhawk are fantastic, and this guy is a major dip-thong for assuming that alleged not-so-good implementation in one game( Lair)=sixaxis controls will always suck. Finally, I cannot believe he says Ratchet is the ONLY great game for PS3 this fall (Uncharted says hi).

Kathleen has been xbox-centric since the beginning. The only game she said she would buy a ps3 for is Everyday Shooter, which I find rather funny. Its like saying I would only buy a 360 for Geometry Wars--Both are great games, but to buy a console only for those games seems ludicrous to me!
Anyway 1UP is being forced to come around on the PS3 as are all the other game sites because (to use her language) there are a S@#%-ton of great games coming out for PS3 now and the insta...
LOL. I know. I think though to be fair, gamespot's community is more anti-PS3 than the staff itself. I know they have bashed PS3 as much as the others, but when they have shown previews and stage demos of the recent PS3 games they seem to be less critical in attitude towards those games notwithstanding what I think is an unfair slam against Eye of Judgement (no single player, duh WTF).
From 1up of all places. Last week they praised Uncharted (rightly so) This week they give fair props to UT3 on PS3 Who would have thunk it, huh? I wonder how the psycho 360 fanboys will spin this, lol.
PS3 version looks great..Just saw the COD4 commercial during the game. Looks like it will be equally awesome on both consoles..Not sure if I will get PS3 or 360 version...I think it will depend on if MS can fix my RROD 360 by release. Great job to IW!
