B4 I got my PS3, I had no intention of getting a PSP..thats now changed, although maybe seeing Crisis Core has somin' to do with it..
Point taken, Mighty. I think though, maybe it is possible content-wise to make it equal--I agree that resolution will always potentially be better on PC though, which can make a difference...
If they get the friendly AI/ interactions up to E3 2005 levels...yeah, I pretty much agree. That is an IF however. Barring that, it does still stand to be a pretty damn entertaining shooter!
Props to you Bloodmask, for submitting a story that isn't a PS3 basher! I never thought you were quite as much a fanboy as T-Mart, but now I think people will have to see that you indeed are more balanced than some PS3 fanboys would like to believe. Great article, btw.
Let me assist.

Oh. And the PC comment by Kikizo is moot as Carmack said that Rage will be identical across all platforms.
Also, I noticed over at the Killzone messhall, there has been marked improvement in the particle effects since the E3 2007 trailer, specifically the smoke and explosions! I didn't notice these initially, but after seeing the new GC video posted here and then the E3 vids, the difference is quite obvious.

Holy Nuts!! I just saw the intro video off Gamersyde, some of it truly looks photorealistic.
I can't believe the video was posted here yet has only 4 comments and isn't even on the first page..it even appears to be showing some gameplay in it. Wow! I hope this isn't delayed to long, it looks astounding.
GTHD, GT prologue and GT5 proper are all stages of the same game.
I finally did find E3 offscreen PGR4 footage and it does look great. Way better than PGR3..So maybe these screens are for real..we will see
Edit: let me clarify about GT5: seems to me my showing "vison GT" in 2005 they were showing the ultimate goal of what GT5 would look like...What we are seeing appears to be the different stages in that process. (GT HD used assets from GT4, GT5 Prol...
Don't be an idiot. Did you even play the original FF7? the ingame graphics were blocky as hell, but it was one of the greatest RPG's Ive ever played. I still have it, and could still play it. It is that good.
Anyway this is the CG intro to the game, and the gameplay doesn't look bad at all for a PSP game, it is almost the quality of a PS2 game. Check youtube, gamespot and IGN for footage there is some.
Anyway I can almost care less about the graphics in-game THIS IN...
Ahh, thanks for posting, I commented of this in the GI scans post. I really wonder if it was a different build, or GI played the game on a higher difficulty setting. I must say "rushing the player when they are out of ammo" is MUCH better than rushing the player at all times!! Anyway, I really hope the gameplay is steller, the insane CG quality graphics deserve insane gameplay to go with.
Then why is it that 7.1 uncompressed audio is one of things touted by Blu-ray (gamer) supporters??
Many gamers are videophiles and audiophiles.
When I got this issue, I was even more floored by most of the Killzone 2 pics than I have been by the Demos/ trailer footage!! The way they are posed, two of the shots almost look Advent Children quality (the one with the bandana dude pointing and especially the one containing the caption "Destructible environments are taken to a whole new level with KZ2's remarkable game engine"
I just hope this game ends up with fantastic gameplay as well, cause it would be a terri...
GT5 is MUCH earlier in production than PGR4 (ie graphics/effect are not finalized)
GT5 WILL include full damage modelling.
Now: These are PHOTOMODE. Even those shots you just put in your post are almost certainly photo mode. I really, really want to believe that the in-game is as detailed and anti-aliased as these (insanely beautiful) shots, though.
It feels to me that Bizzare is pulling the exact same bullshot they did with PGR 3. If you can...
Dude, thats what they have done with Unreal 3. I personally like it. It is a refreshing change from the "painterly" look of almost all other U3 games so far. This is the first that almost looks like CG instead. Nice to see the game again, even if its the same Ubi-days demo from last May.
I also know that even though so far what they have shown of the game makes it look cool, but not intense and gritty (like say KZ2) this will change once they implement their up...
Figboy seems right about on here. ND and Insomniac. while separate companies, share a ton in common(including art and technology assets in the past). It wouldn't shock me at all if they also shared this particular game making philosophy (two series, one installment per year). its brilliant as it means each game still has a two+ year dev time, yet to the gamers we see it like "ooh, new game every year!!". Anyway, the fact that IGN has had J & D: Lost Frontier in their list of...
This is pretty funny! I can't believe anyone would think this is a serious site.
"Can you even tell the difference between this screenshot and a real photograph?" The "screenshot" is a photograph. Too funny. good stuff.
About the game, I can't wait to play it. Even though this is a satire site, I do think that this is a good game. Anyhow, another hilarious satire review site is
Why hasn't anyone mentioned that in the original CG trailer, although the graphics were unachievably amazing, what was depicted as enemy AI was DUMB AS BRICKS. It was in fact the friendly ai that was mind-blowing: Injured soldiers hauled away by fellow ISA (down by bridge at begining) ISA head butting Helghast on top of bridge, shouting coordinated attack command combining a vehicle, allied position change and rocket launcher, all within the space of about 10 seconds, ISA gives same Rocket La...
I agree. The more I see of this, the more excited I become. Not to start a flamewar, but this is the PS3 version we are seeing which is due in January according to IGN. I am curious what the 360 version will look like..better, worse, the same!? Why haven't we seen the 360 version yet?? Anyhow, this PS3 version looks plenty off the hook that I think both sides of the console war will be immensely satisfied by this Burnout.
This is good. I thought this version had failed, guess the admins fixed it!
