Anyhow, I do need to correct you on GT5. Although you are right Prologue lacks damage, GT5 proper will indeed include damage modeling. This was confirmed by Kazunori Yamouchi (sp?) himself in interview a while back. I believe the article was posted by Deep here several months ago. I know, I was actually surprised to hear it would be that long. I think a lot of people (including myself) may have seriously underestimated DMC4 (not just based on game length, but the whole package). As of right now, I'm really looking forwards to it!

It is encouraging to me that the entire team and cast from the original movies are on board and that the game is being treated like what GB3 would have been if it had just been a movie...so yeah. I got some hope for this title! I am a bit wary though, but maybe we are finally transitioning to an era when movies can be good games...Uncharted practically is Indy 4 even if its missing badass Harrison!

I didn't mind the ACTUAL 1up vid as much because it actually had new info and footage. This article is BS flaimbait.

Yeah, I was one of those...DMC4 seems to have gotten a lot better since they first started showing it. Oh and NG2 may end up looking a lot better in the end...right now though, its the massive blood spurting and limb severing that makes NG2 look so impressive. I'm not bagging on it, it still looks great..but I think DMC4 is showing more variation and the lighting I think is a bit better imo. Also, and this just may be a style thing, but I really wish that NG2 had more fluidity between weapo...

It was a bit shocking hearing 1up talk about the PS3 version looking a lot better. One thing though, Shane and Brian are the two most Pro Sony guys at 1up. I do think there is a point to the controls though, I think simply based off the fact I am used to the DS contoller for DMC, I will probably get this version...It will be interesting indeed to see which version truly does better.

After seeing the first 10 min gamersyde vids....I got to agree with IGN, I'm sad to say. The animation IS ported from a PS2 game in fact, I think that ff12 may have BETTER animation. That is an embarrassing disappointment for such a high profile "next-gen" game. The cutscene animation and dialogue are even worse. I noticed moments where a pan to a character happened and he did NOTHING (the other guy was talking and he was just kneeling and staring blankly for like 5 seconds). T...
I think part of it, is that the US is really freaking pro-360. Also the PS3 bashing still hasn't totally gone from the media. I have pretty much no doubt that in the PS3 lifetime, Uncharted, Ratchet, and the other really great PS3 games will do very well here and across the world..
The 1up preview totally turned me around on this game. I am indeed looking forwards to it!
Mag Lev I agree with you although sometimes you are a bit forceful and maybe exageratory on the PS3 side. Although I admit (especially now that game library is getting much better) I favor PS3, I realize that there is A LOT that Sony will have to make happen if they are to pull out in front, or even even with MS (especially here in US).
