OMG. The incar view footage must be downloaded to properly view. There is no longer noticable aliasing ANYWHERE, they even fixed the mirror views. Nothing is pixilated any more. You have to download the video to see this. The embed is too compressed. GT5 car models=best models ever in a game. (PGR still holds best game environments though, for now).

Well, maybe your right. It may just be that a lot of the video only stuff hasn't been filmed or whatever. I know that there is another public day left and hopefully, we will see trailers or something...It is just that all the games I mentioned don't even feature as if they will be covered on any major game sites, so I'm not holding my breath

Yeah, this is definitely on my radar, I am really suspicious of the footage they are showing though, it really seems too good and exactly like their old pre-vis target. However, there is no such disclaimer in this new stuff...so, I can hope!
Well, seeing as how so far (on the Sony side) this TGS has been rather disappointing, I am quite glad that these key FF13 titles have indeed been confirmed for only PS3.
I do think this is the "balance" that SE mentioned back at E3 06? Namely, 360 gets its own brand new game, PS3 gets the main FF13 games, Last Remnant is split between the consoles and I'll bet that Heresis 13, even though not officially announced yet, will be 360 exclusive.

While I do mostly agree with you, ME is a sci-fi futuristic (kind of clinical like Star Trek or Blade Runner setting. I think that the coldness of the various scenes we have seen are actually intentional. There will no doubt, be scenes which show more emotion. I don't think we have seen them yet. The only major glaring presentation disappointment in ME is the hair. It is just a damn texture, and really can break the illusion of immersion.

Yeah, maybe. Dude, you are really nit-picking though. If I was to mention any sort of fault it is that the game doesn't have anti-aliasing on EVERYTHING. It is such an enormous improvement over PGR3 that I don't care though. BC has really done this one right!
In case no one noticed I posted the HD intro for this as well, earlier, you know the one everyone (including me) was really skeptical about. After seeing this ingame, I do think the intro is as well (minus extra AA)...

I agree with Meus. it seems a 08' timeline makes more sense, especialy since so much is already complete. It really just comes down to mainly graphics/ presentation, which I realize is a lot of work...still 09' seems too far away if they are announcing it now.

OK, If this rumor is true, then I'll bet the true reason FF13 is so far behind in development is because the FF7 remake has taken priority, along with Last Remnant. Since the PS3 isn't selling nearly as well as Sony (and its 3rd party developers) would like, Its possible that Sony and Sqeenix want FF7 to hit first as it would be a sure-fire way to explode the PS3 userbase so that when the incredibly costly FF13 project is done, there will be enough PS3 users to recoup the investment.
Here is the gameplay under the similar rainy weather conditions featured in here. Aside from a bit of aliasing here and there, they look near identical, that is to say, they game-play really does look CG this time!

Unbelievable!!!!! Seeing that 42 min video (watched a good chunk) showed that this really is good. Watching this 720P video proves that all the screens released so far are Totally 100% in-game. I am obviously a Playstation fan, but I'm so glad I own a 360 too!!
