This comment is not going to make me popular, but I disagree with your comment that "people choose to live bad lifestyle".
The truth is that children in USA are brainwashed by advertisers to be hyperconsumers of their products and some of the type of advertising that is allowed in the USA is forbidden in all other countries in the world. Some of the brainwashers are game companies, others include companies such as McDonalds. Here's a good article of the issue:
What kind of game project do you think he's working for?
If I understood the article correctly, it truly is 120 feet long and that's why they only used a small portion of the screen. From the article: "Unfortunately, due to it being 120 feet long, it has a ridiculous aspect ratio that's not designed for regular things like TV or video games, instead acting as a strange art space most of the time. Because of this, we could only use one chunk of the screen."
Yep, it's "My life for Aiur", Aiur being the homeworld of the Protoss. Starcraft had some excellent voice acting btw.
Funny thing is that I read the "I am Error" line from Zelda before I studied english, and since I didn't know what it meant, I just thought he had a super cool name. Almost as cool as Noob Saibot in Mortal Kombat.
Looks very epic and atmospheric. The facial animations could be better though.
To ThatCanadianguy420: The news is old and was even featured on this site about a month ago, which is why it shouldn't be approved. However, a new trailer will be shown tomorrow in a pre-premiere of Max Payne movie in Finland, as the story states. Max Payne hasn't been shown anywhere in the world yet and neither has the new Alan Wake trailer.
CViper: The information drought has lasted 2 years, not 10 years. I think there's nothing wrong that a finnish game studio supports a fin...
This is the lamest "news" I have read on this site.
This article was about first party games. I'm curious about these numerous first party hardcore hits for the PS3. Could you name the ones you think top Nintendo's offerings?
IP stands for Intellectual Property
I had predicted that all next gen consoles would have built-in flash memory instead of hard drive, because it's fast, silent, reliable and energy-efficient. Now it seems that there is even better alternative coming up in the near future. We'll see when this becomes the next big thing.

Remedy's Sam Lake has said that the upcoming trailer for Alan Wake is comprised of in-game-footage (either cutscenes or gameplay).
The more I look at the pic, the more I want to know about the situation depicted in it. That's a good sign.
The exact same question was asked in the podcast. Järvi says the project would get harder to manage if lots of additional people are hired and with the project being as hard as it is, they'll rather take the time.
From Remedy's website: "Remedy currently employs over 30 highly talented game developers." http://www.remedygames.com/...
With the extra people they have hired for Alan Wake, it totals up to about 50, if I remember the number correctly from an interview I read in a finnish newspaper.
The biggest problem with most first person shooters is the lack of innovation.
One of the reasons why Remedy signed up to make a game for Microsoft is because MS promised them as long development time as they wanted. Such a rare promise tells us that MS wants Remedy to craft something groundbreaking.
That in mind, it's not so hard to see why there have been some bumps along the road. Here's what Mika Reini, the CFO at Remedy has said recently:
"yes, we're still here and working hard on getting Alan Wake for you to enjoy. Sure, we’ve been in de...
Why is it so hard to believe that a finnish gaming magazine knows something about a finnish game project that foreign mags don't? Funny...
The source (Pelaajalehti) is located in Helsinki. Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind Alan Wake, is located in Espoo. They are neighboring cities.
As the article states, there will be more news released of Alan Wake this week in pelaajalehti.com. Stay tuned kids!
To RememberThe357:
You say that the fact that most of the people in US are able to avoid the brainwashing done by companies such as McDonalds proves that those people who eat McDonalds food have consciously chosen bad lifestyle. I completely disagree with you.
You see, brainwashing has never 100% penetrance in society. Even in Hitler's Germany there were lots of people who opposed the Fuhrer. Those people who were convinced by Hitler's rhetorics wanted to be evil as much th...
