my samsung syncmaster 223bw had a pixel stuck on blue in the top right corner, i tried all the software fixes and none worked.
then i tried the switch it on with your finger over the stuck pixel and it cleared, lasted for a week and came back, done it again and has now lasted for over 6months
I have yet to see a game that deserves a 10, a 10 should mean nothing could be done better and gears 2 could be imnproved.
Reviewers have screwed the score system by giving games like GTA4 10/10 when the game was not that good, and now they have to give out stupidly high scores to cover their balls up.
games media should aggree to a common score system and all stick to it
10/10 = absolutely perfect
9/10 = as close to perfect as you can get
Chris Moyles on the Radio1 breakfast show this morning was talking about RROD and how he was on his 5th 360.
He has ratings of about 8 million listeners.

they might have done it because they were not sure or wanted to make sure the servers could take it, if they marketed the hell out of this and there was a big take up the servers may have exploded.

If it's aimed at kids, why are they advertising it on tv in the uk with a group of for adults playing it, and they look like a right bunch of cheeseballs.
its the same engine and plays the same and is on rails like cod4, but cod4 had a good story and the way it was told made u feel part of the game, cod5 i didnt have a clue what was going on half the time, it was just a run and gun experience, completly forgetable.
the only thing i can say is dont but this on release day. i am never getting a gta game on release ever again no matter what the reviewers say. gat4 had loads of 10/10s but the game is no way a 10/10. 8 at the most, and if i knew it was going to be the way it was i would have just waited til it dropped in price. the game was just plain boring.

considering that the ps3 game devs(like those of motorstorm) didnt know the final specs until late in the day, i doubt final ps4 specs have been decided.
and who actually cares, its gonna be more powerful than the ps3, and fix some of the mistakes they made with the ps3 whilst keping some of the key features if not improving on them.

of course dvd is ahead right now, but that does not mean blu ray needs saving.
most things i have read say blu ray is selling better for at this point in its lifetime than dvd was at the same point in its lifetime. the more people get HD tvs the more they are gonna want hd media, and most people are not interested in digital distribution, and it cannot compete with the quality of bluray. also the more ps3's that are sold means an extra bluray player in peoples homes.

considering its an online only game so everyone that plays will get the improvements and its only about a month after release i think a re-review is warrented.
if it was improvements made 6 months or so after release then its tuff luck forthe devs if they get a bad score cos they shouldnt have released a bad game.

I for one would say it was more like an 8-8.5
there is no way it was a perfect game, multiplayer was naff, single player story was boring, missions were too repetetive, the fun factor was gone, driving was rubbish, etc. etc.
I'm not sure if i'm gonna get this game. I want it, but really want to get LBP and resistance 2. I know if I get this now as soon as resistance comes out i won't touch this for a long time, and its a game that needs lots of time. If it was released later, without bugs I would get it for sure.
