my housemate has forza 3. i like it, but graphically it's nothing special, it's not bad, just not got the wow factor, i think turn 10 also hyped it up so much and raised expectations to a level that they just could not deliver.
a good racer to wet my appetite and get me back into racing ready for gt5 release, i can't wait.
port for HD is nice, only problem is no HD is being broadcast over terestrial tv yet, early 2010 the roll out starts but wont cover the whole country str8 away
R1 was really good game, excelent and original concept, few errors in excecution, but was a launch title so can be forgiven.
R2, rather than sticking with R1 style and improving it, they listned to too many hating fanboy media complaining about it,
saying R1 was dull (cos they were used to halo vividness) so R2 was more vivid, but took away from the gritty feel

I think the main problem was that they tried to please too many critics for R2.
R1 had it's own style, it took gameplay elements from other games, but the whole package worked and made it quite different, maybe quirky compared to other games at the time. the main thing people liked about it was the feel of the game, the dark eerie-ness, and i think the whole atmosphere. this was helped by the fact that it wasn't set it america so didn't the whole "f**k yeah, team america&q...

I am PS3 gamer, and to be honest was only going to rent this as i just want to play thru the single player, multplayer on this game doesn't bother me, too many other good multiplayer games about.
this could spell the end for cod franchise, downhill from here.
New playstation in 2010, that would never of happend, recession or not, the ps3 is only now just hitting 3 yrs old, they wouldn't bring out a new system until ps3 at least 5 yrs, and maybe longer because they were forced to release early because of 360 launching really early (which proved stupid, rrod, dvd9 etc).

Well as it's no big step forward from cod4 i will only rent it (PS3 owner) for the single player. I got bored of cod4 multiplayer pretty quick and preffered bad company online and with bad company 2 out not long after mw2 i will save my money to buy that.
bc2 = purchase as is all about the multiplayer and has legs

thing is, with cod4 the used price stayed stupidly high, when the special edition was released with the map pack it was £45 in game, and used copy of standard edition was £42. game take the piss, i went to asda the next day and they had the special edition for £38.
pure rental for me. i can't see the multiplayer having anything much better than cod4/5 so i will wait for bad company2 for multiplayer and stick with badcomapany 1 and kz2 for multiplayer for now and ...

ps4 will be based on ps3 but pimped out, double cell, xtra ram(maybe newer standard), beefed up gpu, huuge hdd for dlc, still with blu-ray, and waggle stick as standard.
but will not be out as soon as 2012, maybe 2nd half of 2013.
