So many things wrong with your comment right there. First off, where do you get that 80:20 thing? Just about all non-360 owners at this point will limit it below a hundred of a percent.
Second, have you ever seen a 6 disc game? I've been playing RPGs for a long time and the biggest one has been 4 CDs, and since the era of DVDs the only one to set a new record was Lost Odyssey. Did you notice the performance (specifically the load times) for that game?

It's two biggest issues are compatibility and piracy. Most of my friends, me included, don't even consider purchasing games on PC if it is easy to download it as a torrent and bypass its protections. It's second issue is compatibility. Most PC games only works on WinXP, they tend to run slower on Vista and not at all on a lot of other OS. I tried to install Fall Out Tactics the other day on my Vista laptop, but now I can't even uninstall it.
Yeah I was confused for a moment too with how real everything looks. It's hard to imagine this is only the prologue.
It's being developed right now. It's suppose to be compatible with current hardware, just a firmware upgrade should be needed.
True enough, even DVD-9 only holds about 8GB per disc, so it will be a minimum of 6 discs on DVD. The only thing I'm curious about is why didn't they use 2 50GB BR discs.
I hope I can get one (non-import) through Amazon soon.
Yeah, if they can't use it, they shouldn't force themselves. That was how Lair shot itself in the foot.
You forgot Valkyrie Chronicles in August, and possibly White Knight Chronicles in October.
All this from a desperate 360 fan, I'm not convinced. I don't understand why you group PS3 fans together like that; I don't group other 360 fans with you...
With this week's PS3 news, I suppose this is your cloud's silver lining.
It's very mean to tease them so. ^_^b
Oh thank god, I just ordered two years of EGM not long ago.
Too bad the exclusivity clause in their XBLA contract will prevent them from releasing this game on the PSN anytime soon.
The momentum has finally turned in Sony's favor. They have restructured their entire company, reestablished a good outlook on the PS3 from the mass media, and furnished an impressive Playstation lineup for 2008 (and 2009 I suppose). Not bad considering it has been playing catch up to rival consoles as a victim of circumstances since day one.
MS already knew it was behind on Sony in terms of being family friendly. The whole reason they made Viva Pinata was to go after that market. Sony doesn't need a link for this image.
But if you need one, here you go:

Actually the 360's top selling games are FPS and oriented towards the teen and young adult demographics.
If we are talking about a console that will cover every the Wii lacks, which are multimedia capabilities, HDD, etc, it has to be the PS3. It has something for everyone. In terms of mass market appeal, reliability, and brand name recognition, the PS3 goes much better with the Wii.
It's funny seeing how 360 Arcade has been in stock all this time, but its ranked #157 while the 40GB has been around #10 for the past few weeks. At least people know a better deal when they see it.
It's already OOS. I hope Sony get some more 80GB SKUs (no matter the form) to the states soon, they are missing on some major potential sales for this month for North America.
This actually gave me mixed feelings. Disregarding the advertisement for Coke, it was actually nice to see something inspiring, though unrealistic, in that game setting for a change.
I don't really mind the toned down violence EA might bring, but I do mind how and why they will do it. Toning down the violence to offer some glimpse of hope in a dark world isn't so bad, but doing it to just lower the ESRB ratings is just wrong. This and seeing GTA becoming equivalent to EA's NFL fr...
I already pre-ordered mine for 50GB of pure gaming goodness. This plus the MGO starter pack will enough for my month of June. I hope everyone who has been praising the game has preordered it by now.
