Not really on the play anywhere..
There are titles that support it, but then there are games that do not like halo mcc
1. It is funny that the ssd is the focus as if that is all Sony is doing.
2. Developers have not had the liberty to use the faster write speed that can be utilized with said storage due to the highest percentage of players have been on hard drives.
Sony is speeding up everything. They have a dedicated audio drive to free up speed as well.
4k will be the norm... how fast you can refresh the image is the goal. The cpu usually is the crutch.
Teraflop...
Sony does not need to build confidence that anything new is coming.
Microsoft’s biggest issue is with confidence of them being a gaming company.
They just spent a gen making more console variations than new games/ips...
no one is excited except for those that just are addicted to Xbox.
I see xbox fans crying over what Sony has or has not shown... while we have more information about the ps5 than we do halo and they will be launching at around the...
🤔 where was Microsoft this ENTIRE GEN?!
Are they Microsoft exclusives or purchased? Microsoft only does a year contract and then tries to buy more exclusivity if deemed popular.. but popular and Microsoft really does not have ring to it anymore... especially that this was their next gen reveal
Resolution slows down frame rate.
I can bet you money.. when dust settles.. players will be going for higher refresh rates over pixels.
1080p @140 fps looks better than 4k at 60 and lower frames.
So who, to this point, is pushing speed over pixels?
The same company that has ACTUALLY been making game engines for the last 6 years.
Sony.
Putting make up on an old engine will not do anything but be in 4k
Money on the games.. not focusing on rent to never own products that, thus far, has been less than stellar per offerings and effecting what should be major releases with sub par developing to balance the budget.
Not saying Sony can not... but it should be a more polished version of what they already have with later releases with at least sonys exclusive offerings so that said developers are better supported.
Let’s let the free access signups run out.
I boot up a game on my pc.. and it automatically counts me as a Xbox live player although I am not playing on an Xbox game or even using live.
I’m on steam.
Lots of pr fluff with this and a lot of it has to do with windows 10 more than reality.,
Just saying.
That’s how it was sold.
It was not “bad” Especially for a first run.
Sony games just get reviewed like they are suppose to be a five star restaurant Vs the a for effort Microsoft gets.
If you follow sonys YouTube, there is daily support for indie games.
What the media/n4g chooses to make noise with is not sonys issue. That’s biased coverage.
Yeah it sucks that not only do you have to pay to play free to play games.. but then Microsoft forces you to play crossplay with pc as well.
Hope they get an option to turn it off soon.. and get rid of the pay wall as well.
Cod on ps3 and 360 were hacked...
Never really saw issues on other games that stood out for the time.
Battlefield had large open matches and you would never know.
No... shills in the comment sections and media partners wanted the agenda push..
Most fans did not want it.
And? Spencer sneezes and every media outlet writes 20 articles about how it just changed gaming... for what THEY will supposedly do... I have never seen you have an issue with that.
They did and they also falsely showed games per high setting on pc like forza when it launched with Xbox one.. plus, once the specs were out, they then falsely made claims about the cloud and how it could possibly make the base Xbox one 12, 8, then 4x more powerful with 4k maybe being an option... on a co sole that in no way could even achieve a 4k resolution.
Microsoft is only about marketing.
But you can not even rely on that.
You will see maxed out pc versions first before you see the retail versions.
The problem with Microsoft’s backwards compatibility for next gen...
Is it was pretty much this gen.
Old gets old... no matter which way you spin it.
Yes.. it is nice to have.. but not exciting to have compared to new games/experiences
1.6 million because of sponsored streams.
Most of those would be watching whatever said streamers would be playing.
“Stream” viewership numbers are no numbers to be used with facts.
Should Microsoft get criticism for trying to be a gaming company like Sony?
Works both ways.
Oh I see...
you are confused with multiple articles, each from different sites, with “duplicates”.
There you go. Answered your question for you.
