@gamer7804
Well, if said claim is correct, what you will see is a bunch of accounts changed just like last gen once everyone realized how crap the Xbox one was and wanted to hide from their previous statements.
😂
They were confident in the “power of the cloud” too... as well as their new AAA ips to boot for this gen.
That’s what Microsoft does... talk.
And everything you listed is chosen not be used on PCs because it’s poor performance.
It is also not doing anything new.. just trying to create bottlenecks against competing developers. Ie trying to dictate engines. Not making them.
Nope.
I assure you.. the heat concern would be with Microsoft’s build. They are trying too hard with the sales pitch of teraflops.
Teraflops is not “power”.. it takes power to sustain. Ie they are just putting in everything they can at an affordable price.
Sony is trying to innovate all utilities and micro the power vs output.
Will it pay off? Yet to be seen... anywhere.
Microsoft is not trying and they never will.
I would, and...
From who?
If a console lost half of their market placement due to their offerings... how does a rent to never own option for said offerings make for a W?
Sony actually makes game engines and spent the better part of this gen blowing everyone’s socks off...
the Xbox x will be good for pixel counters.. the ps5 will be good for games.
Cables? About any pro/serious fps player for less latency.
I went from 4k @ 30fps
To 2560x1080 at 160-200fps... and the lower resolution at the higher frame rate not only does like you say.. play better, but it looks better because you can actually see the game.. now, I am playing at highest settings.. but still.
I know 4k would definitely be better if it could hit the same frame rates.. but that is a very expensive task atm.
They are probably still laughing at the base that thinks teraflops is “power” 😂😂
I wonder if they get their information from all of the misinformation blogs/articles shared on n4g...
I mean.. how long have they convinced people teraflops is “power”.. when in fact, it is not. It TAKES power to have better teraflops..
But thanks to n4g 😒
Backwards compatibility has never been a huge deal at launch.,
That is probably why Microsoft waited over a year to implement partial bc with Xbox one... they just forgot to make new games to keep their fans excited.
Innovation and new.
The bc talk is as stupid as the teraflop talk..
Good news is, if you are still stuck with your love of bc... then the x is for you... because it was their only focus this gen..
🤔 so.. do...
It takes power to move teraflops..
Teraflops is not power.
Ignorance is bliss... I understand.
But the reality is, one company has been focusing on game engines and performance on lower power need....
The results are unknown..
As an example.. you can give a Honda Civic, on paper, more power, but it is the entire build of vehicle that determines the victor.
The blind pr push of teraflops is completely out of ig...
Where are you “correctly” getting this information?
How did Microsoft lag out their counter bottleneck build?
I see the ol Pr soon police.. no true breakdown from a company that has not made a new game engine in ten years...
I see the fake likes in full force to drum up support/hype... but exactly, lay down the full effects of how every inch of hardware is going to work on the xxxxxxssssxxx
Let’s see that “beast”
Because the crackdown 3 was suppose to be THE most impressive thing about “cloud” gaming and everything else related...
Microsoft just spent an entire decade offering nothing new.
No innovative game engines.
No new techniques to offer to the world of game developing.
They, comically, turned teraflops into something with their marketing pr, and, laughably, still being used as a hoo-raw by the shills....
...
No.
The sales pitch Microsoft latched on to just effected your perception.
Sony developed game engines since the ps3... as well as creating new hardware.
Ps4 on has purely been focused on game engines.
ie there is no game as advanced on an Xbox one x with more teraflops that was on the base PlayStation.
Putting lots of pixels on dates engines may wow you.. but with Microsoft, you are at the mercy of mostly third party ...
Yeah, but didn’t you see the ten year old game engines with high settings?!
Oh wait.. Microsoft fans do not care about logistics.. just pretty pictures and catchy pr slogans like “teraflop” 😂😂😂 29335;🏻♀️🤦
Funny how things like having to pay for Xbox live to play free to play games makes no noise while you are worried about next gen... since there is no current gen for Microsoft. 😂
Cod br just released and is completely free on psn... Xbox? 😂
And I’m sorry, where do the ghost, final fantasy, last of us 2 conversations fall into your “talking about three year old games”?
Stupid is stupid does.
They have had an exclusive contract.. that is why 2k had to stop making football games per relation to the nfl and eas contract.
This is the very scenario that will hurt cloud gaming.
They are fighting over contracts and distribution of financial earnings.
Since, stadia, Microsoft, and all other non game making businesses need to depend on these contracts for third party games.. this is the downfall of the subscription services. Cloud or down load.
At least GeForce now is free with a much more affordable subscription offering as well when compared to stadia.
You have a company that has a vision has spent the better part of this gen building new game engines to carry forward into the new gen. All to improve said vision.
Then you have Microsoft. Marketing slogans and pr fluff with media partners.
I am going to actually side with the company that has a goal in mind...
