After reading the comments here I'm surprised how many people have no idea how processors work or are made, especially Nintendo fanboys (like the monkey guy). Just think about this: If it were possible to make a console as powerfull (or even more) than the PS4 at the size of a tablet AND at the same cost (or less) with the technology available in 2016, then the new Xbox One S and the PS4 Slim would have been also the same size as the Switch. The reason they are not, and actually a lot big...
Adjustable FOV!!! Thank you so much!!!
And that's why wide FOV matters in games, it makes the hole game experience a lot better. But yet there still are tons of developers who make their games with nauseatingly narrow FOVs arguing that it makes the game look cinematic. But we are not watching movies, we are playing games. I have the dream that one day all games will have FOV sliders.
As a PS4 owner I have to say that I agree with you, I'm seriously thinking on buying an Xbox One S. Is there a bundle with FH3? I haven't seen any and can't believe there isn't any after Microsoft has been pushing that game so much. I remember there was a blue console bundled with FM6, that also had a 1TB HDD. If there is something similar but with FH3 I'll buy it.
@Ding:
I'm not liar or troll like you, I do have a PC and that's where ...
Welcome to the PC Master Race. I made the jump from consoles to PC in 2009 and I'm not going back.
This is another good example of why I don't trust reviews. I'm glad there is a demo for this game, it saved me ten bucks. Terrible game.
This is why since a few years ago I stoped buying games that are recently released, instead I wait about a year for the gold/complete/definitive/direc tor's cut version of the game. I'm not willing to buy games in pieces, also by waiting I get the games at great discounts and also with all the updates and patches so I don't have to bother with the initial bugs and glitches that are very common now. Regarding SquareEnix games, I'm currently wating for the Rise of the Tomb Raide...
I'm of the unpopular opinion that a higher frame rate is always better than a higher resolution, and I really mean always - as in every genre. That's why I didn't like DriveClub, they made it run at 30fps to boost visuals as much as possible, and though it looks amazing, that frame rate really hurt the gameplay (same goes for FH3 on the XB1). That's also the reason I couldn't care less about the PS4 PRO. If Sony had said that the PRO's upgraded hardware was meant to im...
This is what I've been saying about Nintendo financials for a few years now, but I keep seeing posts from Nintendo fanboys saying that Nintendo is fine, they have tons of cash, etc, etc, like certain monkey guy that every body knows arround here. That Nintendo is doing OK is a myth, a lie. I hope Nintendo gets it right next time with the NX, but so far with the leaked information I've read, it seems that wont be the case.
I'm worried about the controller cord length, I can tell by the pictures that the new controller has a lot shorter cord compared with the old one. Can anyone confirm how long it'll be?
With the success of Pokemon Go, I see that there is a huge - and I mean HUGE - market for Nintendo games outside of Nintendo's own platforms. And I think that if Nintendo doesn't see that, I'm sure other companies do. So if I had the money to buy NIntendo as a whole, I'll be doing it right now. Maybe some of the big companies out there, like Disney or Apple, might be considering to make an offer to buy Nintendo and get to own all their IPs. I'll do it if I could.
As someone who worked in the electronic manufacturing industry for almost a decade, I can assure you that for a product to be ready to launch at a given date, the manufacturing process must start at least - at least - six months earlier. So if Nintendo wants to have the NX ready to launch by March 2017 they should start with the manufacturing process by September the latest, or else we should expect Nintendo to announce a delay. There is still time, but the time window is closing and Nintendo...
I like what Microsoft is doing with the Xbox brand, turning it into a gaming platform beyond a specific console or hardware, more like a service / ecosystem, and focusing in what really matters which are the users and not only on selling hardware. I can already hear the Nintendo fanboys repeating for the millionth time that the Wii was the most succesfull console from last generation because of its 100+ million consoles sold, but most of those millions of consoles were collecting dust and not...
Why are these "Amazon deals" articles always so difficult to read?
@WilliamSheridan
The name PS "Trinity" actually makes a lot of sense. PSVR was called "Morpheus", then the upgraded PS4k/4.5 is being called "Neo", so I guess darthv72 is about right with PS5 being called "Trinity".
I also want more Assassin's Creed games, I think those who hate them are a very loud minority. I just played AC Unity recently (my favorite so far, stil haven't played Syndicate) and I'm guessing that the next AC game will be in Cairo or Alexandria.
A few quotes from the article:
"... I have to say that I am disappointed that the new Zelda game will be the only game for Nintendo at E3. I didn’t think that this would actually happen.... I was so very wrong....
"... I’m hoping that we’ll see a Direct in June or sometime in July. There has to be... I have to believe this. I’m not ready to give up on Nintendo....
"... My faith in Nintendo lately has been taking a major nose dive... I hate how disapp...
I just played the FFXV demo on PS4 and after I finished with it I had to uninstall the damn thing. It has to be the worst game demo ever. I sure hope the final game is nothing like the -ironically called- "Platinum Demo".
I can't believe how many people are saying this demo is so good, did I missed something?
That FOV is too narrow for me, deoes anyone know if the game has the option to widen the FOV just like they did with Alan Wake?
What surprises me most is that the very same Wii U owners and Nintendo loyalists who have been claiming that the Switch will be more powerful than PS4/XBO are now surprised that Nintendo may cancel the Wii U version of ZBofW in favor of a better version on the -as the fanboys claim- way more porwerful Switch. If the Switch is really that powerful, it should make perfect sense that Nintendo cancels the WiiU version of Zelda, since it would end being a far inferior version. So Nintendo fans sho...
