Regarding the "desync issue" with the Joy-cons, I don't agree with you that this same thing happens with other wireless controllers from other consoles (PS4,PS3, Wii, etc). Yes, it happens if you go too far away, but by too far I mean like 30 feet far (I've tested this). What I've seen is an alarming amount of people (about half of early reviewers) pointing out that the Joy-cons show desync issues by just beeing a few feet away from the console, and even by your own hand...
I was very skeptical about those two games, until I got Journey as a PS Plus free game. I was surprised how amazing it is. So then I decided to buy Abzu. Just wow. Both are amazing games!
I loved the previous game (Styx: Master of Shadows), can't wait for this one!
The author has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. He has swallowed so much of Nintendo's own bullshit that he can no longer think properly.
Nintendo NEEDS third party games becasue selling a console is their business, and the purpose of a console is to be a platform for other parties to create software for it. That's were most of the money is made, not just in selling hardware. That's why most of the time the hardware is sold at a lost, becasue it is a...
"Depends what their end goal is"
Maybe he is not a fan, but an ebay scalper, maybe he is going to buy as much units as possible and resale them at ebay for 3 or 4 times the price since we all know that Nintendo's strategy is to usually be out of stock most of the time.
Wow, another article justifying the lack of features on a Nintendo system. It's like me trying to justify my empty fridge saying that maybe my guests won't be hungry/thirsty, they're just coming to my home to play games, and play games only. If they wanted to eat/drink something they should have stopped at a 7eleven on their way to my home.
I understand that not everyone will use the web browser on a daily basis (or ever) on the Switch, but I know there are many...
Yeah, I guess it went something like this:
- Boss: We need a new marketing strategy to improve demand and sell a lot of these Mini NES f*ckers.
- Marketing: We could make small quantities available to make it look like it's getting out of stock very quickly.
- Boss: Great idea, we should do that. Let's make only 100 units available then... no wait, make it only 10.
...One month later...
- Boss: So, how many uni...
Women will notice the Switch is 6.2"... if you know what I mean...
Also I heard that Nintendo's Switch will proyect the image with inverted colors (negative image), so you will need to use the new Nintendo Switch glasses that will invert the colors back and let you see the correct image while playing. They will be sold at $99.95 ($189.95 for a bundle of two). And if you already wear prescription glasses (like I do), Nintendo will sell an adapter so you can put the Switch glasses over your own glasses. That adapter will be sold for just $29.99.

I think having indies on the Switch will be a good thing, but as you pointed out, what worries me is that third parties are just throwing old games for it, like Skyrim (2011) and Rayman Legends (2013), and now World of Goo (was released on 2008!!!), it seems to me that not even indies have trust in the Switch as a viable platform. I want to see new games made for the Switch, not just re-releases of old games that I've already played. This is so sad indeed.

I guess it's our fault that Windows Vista was crap, not Microsoft's.
It's also our fault that Blackberrys no longer exist.
And definitely our fault that No Man Sky was such a let down.
;)
It seems most people are too lazy to use their brain, they just accept whatever they're told, even if that's uber BS. At first when I watched the Switch presentation I thought "Really Nintendo? Nobody is going to believe that BS, everyone will see it is a handheld first". But man, I guess I've never been so wrong.
I just noticed that by reading most of the posts here you can tell who are religious and who actually use their brains and common sense. Those who believe in Nintendo saying the Switch is a console or a hybrid just because that's what Nintendo says for their marketing purposes, then they must believe the universe is 6,000 years old just because the Bible says so. It's so sad.
It looks it will be like the jump from Gamecube to the Wii, slightly more power and focused on motion controls. I've already experienced that and to be honest I didn't like it. I bought Zelda Twilight Princes for the Wii when it was released in November 2006 (also had a Gamecube), and a few years later when I got to play it again but on the Gamecube without all the motion bullshit I enjoy it so much better. If I had a Wii U (thank God I don't) I wouldn't buy a Switch to play Z...
Super Mario Sunshine, it used the right analog trigger for the water gun, depending on how far you pressed you could control the amount of water, or even you could run while shooting or stay put in one place and aim if you pressed the trigger all the way.
I agree racing games are the ones that use this feature most, but i think that's no excuse to pull it out.
So Nintendo is charging $50 for each Joy-Con ($80 for both), and $70 for the Pro Controller (notice the "Pro" in the name) wich is about 40% more expensive than Xbox One and PS4 controllers, but won't have analog triggers?!!!
What the hell Nintendo!!!
Wait...
Wait, wait...
I know, I got it! Nintendo is going to introduce another controller (at E3, maybe) that will feature analog triggers and will be called something like th...
I can see the Playstation guy Kevin Butler saying "Pew! Pew! Pew!".
Is that guy Nolan Bushnell?
If Nintendo excecutives were a bit smarter than a chicken they would have sold at least 1 million, if not more. But they had to make so small quantities, and with that stupidly short controller cord... I guess Nintendo will never change.
"*some* previewers are experiencing" - Like half of them, I found that to be an alarming amout to be honest. I hope this is just one of those first batch production issues and that Nintendo has it fixed for the launch date.
