I don't normally buy stuff like this, and I don't even play LBP very much, but that Magneto costume is awesome.
LOL. I can't agree, but if they were those Dragon Quest beverages, then I'd probably be sold, so I won't make fun!

Although they apparently taste terrible!
I think it will be interesting to see if this new exception is expanded in the future, or if it is left as-is.
I agree. I understand wanting to cater to a broader audience by simplifying things, but it seems a shame for them to alienate their hardcore fans, those who probably will be more likely than the casual gamer (at least in my opinion) to buy the game every year rather than just every few years. But I'm not really a sports gamer, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, lol.
Yeah, I think this would be a really fun game for maybe $5, but any more than that and it is highway robbery.
You mean PSOne games? We decided not to include those in this round and do them separately. Think of it like the difference between WiiWare and Virtual Console.
These aren't meant to be the "top 10" PSN games, just some of the staff's personal favorites. It'd be like if you and your friends got together and each picked just ONE of your favorite PSN game and put them together. ;)
We plan on doing a series of these and PSN may appear again for round two, so favorites like Trine, PixelJunk Shooter, and more might make the list in the next batch! :)
Actually, the final value fees are more like 12%. They're definitely more than 10. They're outrageously high. :S I'm all for an alternative to ebay, although I usually sell my games through half.com because the fees are less.
I don't blame you. P4 is just sooooo long. I played 130 or so hours and didn't even get the "true" ending... but at that point I was just like, you know what? I'm going to you-tube it...
LOL. Yeah, Theo is kinda creepy... I kinda wish I had picked her instead.
Yeah, I will probably pick it up when it goes on sale.
I wish I had that much shelf space period...
We actually just recorded a podcast discussing this topic. I definitely think if done right, with the right book and the right genre, video games based on books can work. I think the biggest problem comes when you take a source material that is already rich enough and throw in a bunch of cheesy video-game cliches (i.e., upcoming Lost Authorization game).
Other games based on books: American McGee's Alice, Nancy Drew Games, Agatha Cristie games, Hardy Boys Games, not to ...
Really interesting article.
I would probably get it if it were free, but don't really feel motivated to spend $2 for something like this.
Wow, 15 mins is short...
LOL I just photoshopped that picture Monday and thanks to the wonders of Google it is already being recycled!
I want to see GC and GBA games available (basically a handheld VC) and it would be great not only if you could transfer your games from one console to another (i.e. if you got a new DS) but also from your Wii to your 3DS. But I doubt very much we will see that.
Yeah, this is one reason (of several) why I won't be getting a kinect. I have my 360 connected to my computer in a small office with an L-shaped desk set-up, so it ain't gonna work.
Interestingly, the official Kinect website says nothing about the space limitations/requirements. I wouldn't be surprised if some people get burned on this one. :(
Great, now we have to go from re-buying all our VHS's on DVD to buying them on Blu-Ray and now on yet another format. (LOL).
Seriously, I don't think we'll see hard-copies like Discs go out the window just yet, and I wouldn't be surprised if we do see something like this in a few years.
I don't lie when I say it was one of the biggest heart-breaking disappointments of my gaming life. It wasn't a great game, but it was magical, and then they just ruined it. :( Just fair warning. The soundtrack, however, is phenomenal.
