I'm seriously tempted... does anyone know how much this is? My guess is $15-20 since that seems to be the magic number...

Seriously, though, I never played any of the Pokemon games either... I think I was just a little too old when the craze first hit, and then I just had other things to play, I guess.

LOL. I never played the original, but I don't see why you'd need to since this is a remake... almost like playing it however many years ago... :)
Normally, there's nothing wrong with visual novels, in fact, I enjoy them and they are a neglected genre in this country. However, if you're going to have a text-heavy adventure, then you better darn well do a good job of making that text tight! This game was in such bad need of a red pen it was painful... painfully boring, and it's really a shame.

Yeah, if you really want a challenge and haven't played it yet, I highly recommend Hometown Hero... and it looks like they have new levels you can buy after you finish the main game. It is the most challenging of the series, at least in my opinion. I'm actually replaying it right now, and it's kinda refreshing after DD5.

And while English may be relatively simple grammatically, it can be hard to learn due to several factors, like the fact that it is very idiomatic, or that we use dozens of prepositions in inconsistent ways.

I think there's a difference between speaking the language (i.e., in a multiplayer game) and wanting your console text to be in your native tongue...
I would say they're making a pun on "Call to Duty" as in Duty to serve God, but the shot of the guy with the machine gun sort of throws that out the door, unless of course, they're going for the South Park route.
