I was relieved that removing SecuROM doesn't disable the game, but it's still disappointing that it was included (without self-uninstalling) without any notice in the first place.
I am jealous. I really want to see the 3DS in person, but it looks like I may not get to until it's in stores... which may be a while after launch if it's the same as it was with the DSi XL... :(
Even if the PAX guys were a bunch of immature jerks recently, there's some really interesting panels I would have liked to have gone to!
Yeah I haven't really played it since the good-old days on Sega Genesis... but this actually sounds like it might be worth it.
Ditto. I may have gotten the collector's edition primarily for the plushie and bookends....
It can also disable hardware and software on your computer it considers potential piracy tools, including your CD- or DVD burner that you may use for perfectly legal things.
Yeah, EA has their games on steam but they have sliding DRM. Like Steam versions will usually just have the Steam interface as DRM, the digital version elsewhere often has securom, and the disc version has its own DRM...
Thanks - I hate it with a passion and am so mad that I actually believed EA/Bioware when they said this wouldn't have it... if I hadn't already installed the game I would return it.
I've only played a few minutes of this, but I hope to have some more time to explore it later. :)
Yeah, great way to reward your paying customers.
Not sure I agree with all of your choices, but interesting article.
That's a good prize. Maybe that will come up later.
Yeah I mean I think that might help... I was actually a little disappointed they just assumed you just watched the movies yesterday, or know them by heart. I mean I vaguely remember them, but it's been a while.
Oh wow really? How do they call it a move bundle then if it doesn't include the eye??
Interesting concept. I would say I'm surprised we haven't seen this sooner, but as you say, that's definitely a way to piss off the publishers even more than you already do.
Finally a Move Bundle that might be worth buying.
One of my favorite PSN games is the first one.
LOL. Well, the game honestly didn't grab me immediately, but once it did, I was hooked.
Sounds like they've made a lot of good improvements, and it's nice that you can use the old controls if you don't like the new ones.
Yeah it is one reason I would consider doing Plus.
