They promised a Gameplay Reveal like 3 days before, it's not like in between we got a 2 month pandemic, this was no last minute decision, they knew they were not gonna show anything and still promoted it that way.

Spurg kept saying throughout every comment section that they showed "Silent Hill successor's" in the event and that the "Silent Hill successor's trailer stole the show" this is NOT Silent Hill's successor, just because they share a composer or might be evidently HEAVILY inspired by SH, it still doesn't make it "Silent Hill successor" it makes the game a Silent Hill Inspired game, there's a difference.
What is there to analyze? Lol, the only gameplay in the entire event was the Ps4 footage of Yakuza that I saw.
In Engine =/= Gameplay.
Stop pretending both are the same.

There is no Silent hill Successor, stop saying that, it's a game that shares the Composer and that's it, stop spreading misinformation.
Specially when Jeff after the fact screamed to the heavens how impressed he was with the gameplay he just saw, that's what actually made it worse, taking us for fools.
No gameplay whatsoever, SO disappointed, and to then hear Jeff talk with the Ubisoft developer and keep emphasizing how amazing was the "gameplay" we just saw just made it worse, the entire event showed only cinematic trailers, probably just Yakuza showed gameplay and it looked exactly like the current gen version of the game.
And not even get me started on wasting time hearing Mahomes talking about something he doesn't understand and that he was payed to say ...
So? People shouldn't be hired based only on their gender, if any company open a position, they should hire the individual that will do it better regardless of gender, gender identity, race, religion and everything else you want to put in there.
This is not about having quotas, now that's racist and sexist.

Dreams, Concrete Genie, The Last Guardian, Detroit: Become Human, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Knack, Resogun, The Unfinished Swan, Entwined, Hohokum, Helldivers, The Order: 1886, Until Dawn, Alienation, Gravity Rush 2, Shadow of the Beast, RIGS, Matterfall, Drawn to Death, Farpoint.
And I didn't even mention every single big game like Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost of Tsushima or Days Gone.

Yes, it says that I like great games and not regurgitated yearly franchises filled with MT's that only do a setting swap from game to game.
I'd rather play MGS4 for the 9th time than the new AC for the first.

I love it how some people sensationalizes everything by talking in absolutes, lol, this is according to who? Who decided that? Who made it official? Don't get me wrong, It is a great series, but so is the Legend of Heroes, FF, Persona, SMT, Dragon Quest, Suikoden, Star Ocean and many, many more.
And people are just happy to just pay for 2 services, one for basically just playing online and one for games.
And nobody says anything about it, they just consume and think how wonderful and pro-consumer Phil Spencer is, while at the same time being charged to basically just play online, because the last 6+ months of Gold are bottom of the barrel titles, but I mean, it's all good, now you just need to pay more and get Gamepass too, 'cause money.
You can be number 1 for one day and sell 100k copies if there is nothing else noteworthy or you can be number 1 and sell 3 million, the momentary position of a game doesn't tell a lot of the actual sales of the game or it's success, I mean, it's cool that it's the top seller, but without more specific information that doesn't equate to much.

I love it how MS say that all 14 studios are working on next generation games, that's straight up misinformation, the truth is that they're working on making Xbox One games that are later optimized for the One X and THEN the Series X, no real next-gen game for the first couple of years at least.
