Dude, I lost it when you mentioned the Mandela Effect, hahahahaha. Never a comment has been truer.
@Chris12
To notice the difference between 720p and 1080p you don't need a Digital Foundry video to explain to you what you cannot see with your naked eye.
I love me some wasteland, is sad how there is no traction in the commenta section for this game, maybe a couple of comments at most. I know it's not exactly mainstream, but it's still kinda sad.
"The only first party game confirmed for the PS5 so far, is a remake."
So? Even if it is a remake, it's going to be a game being built from the ground up for next gen.
KZ Shadowfall might not have taken full advantage of the Ps4, but I was leaps and bounds ahead of anything that we had in the previous generation.
The original PlayStation was left behind with over 100 million, the Ps2, left behind with 150 million, the PS3 left behind with 96+ million consoles, people act like this is the first time this has happened, every single new generation left the previous one behind, if I'm paying $500 for a new console I want it to take full advantage of what it offers.
@Monkey602
100% agree, I usually do it for "little" things, What I do is I save all if not the full amount of what it costs and then finance it anyway, that way if anything happens I know I can pay it in full or at least get me going for a lot more months.
I would never max out the card or buy a 5k Tv or something like that.
@monkey602
Too bad man, I've been living here for the past 3 years and is easily the best deal in electronics anywhere, I don't even care about Black Friday deals at other places, the choice to pay things at 0% in that span of time easily surpass any deal anywhere.
Exactly, we are not talking about a demo, those things take time because you have to take a vertical slice of the game and release it by itself, that's why you don't see a lot of Demos anymore, a gameplay presentation of someone playing a couple of minutes of the game straight out of an early build running from a developers kit takes no time at all.
Wow, talk about out of touch.
They surely have a different opinion about a lot and I mean a lot of games.
I wouldn't brag about that footage, it has a wonderful art direction, but gameplay and graphics wise it looks not only really rough (understandable because it's alpha) but decidedly not "Next-Gen"
Dude, if you're in the states apply for a "My Best Buy" card, not the credit card one, the one that you can use only for Best Buy Purchases, you can finance everything you buy between 12 to 24 months with a 0% interest rate, 0 down, I buy all my electronics from them, put auto pay and forget about it, I'm preordering my Ps5 with them day one and I will probably pay it in a year's time, giving me money to actually buy games for myself and Christmas presents for my wife &a...
I think they will do a little bit less in the next one, there surely will be another event after June and before launch, there's still so much to cover, I think for them to show the console, show 2 to 3 exclusive games and then explain the improvements and show us the improvements made possible by the SSD and this custom hardware it's more than enough for this next one.
Then maybe another deep dive into the UI & the features a month after the June One and a big ...
And even worse, while we are watching it don't comment about all the wonderful gameplay we're seeing, after the AC: Valhalla cinematic trailer ended and Jeff commented about the amazing gameplay we just saw I knew right there and then that they are either so our of touch with reality and live in a vacuum or even worse, they think all of us are stupid.
@HarryMasonHerpderp
Magnify + Manawall is your friend and then from there after rotating between physical and magic which is a pain, if you can stagger him go all out with Tifa 300%+ Stagger combo (2 true strikes + Rise and Fall + Omnistrike + True Strike).
Manawall will keep you alive longer.
Lol, EDGE always trying to be so "edgy", FFVII:R succeeds not only as a remake but also as a stand alone game, almost finishing my hard difficulty playthrough for my platinum run I'm actually surprised by the amount of content, the easy to pickup but hard to master very deep gameplay mechanics (once you start playing around with builds + combos you'll be amazed by what you can do) and the ways the expanded the first part of this story.
I'm almost at the end of the game on my hard difficulty run on my way to the platinum and haven't had a single glitch, I don't think I was lucky in that regard.
And the great story part I guess that's very subjective, but in my opinion i'm having a lot of fun seeing how they expanded the story and the characters of this first part.
Gameplay wise I'm going to heavily disagree with you, probably one of the deepest FF and JRPGs in a w...
You have to take into account the scope of the demo, what they wanted to show was not what Next Gen is capable of in it's entirety, but to show Lumen and Nanite technology running on a Ps5, that's it, no RTX, no other effects, nothing of that sort.
When developer take U5 tech and use it to make a real game and they start introducing all these different effects and systems, imagine then what a studio like Sucker Punch would be able to do with the PS5 capabilities + t...
People will eat whatever Nintendo releases, unfortunately doesn't matter what Nintendo does, it will still be bought by people when handheld is what we're talking about and even though you can use the Switch as a home console and most "hardcore" gamers that have the Switch use it also at home, most people just buy it and use it as a handheld, now even more with the Switch Lite.
P.s: The joy-con drift it's still an issue and nobody has actually done any...
