Amazon is not the one trying to buy Activision, so the regulators do not care, plus, having 200 million Amazon Prime Subscribers and saying that equates to your cloud gaming service user base is very reaching.
At this point you can say Netflix which is starting to release crap games is the biggest of them all.
It's one thing when you release a new IP, it reviews well but it does not sell well, so yes, new games should be allowed to fail, that's how you create new potential IPs.
It's another when your game fails because it reviews like crap, not because new IP, VERY different things.
If it's anywhere close to JUST good, they'll eat that stuff up and it will last them for the next 2 years, they'll be talking about the mod community and all that jazz.
What "best value proposition"? I would argue that a service that only offers bad new games and old games is the "worst value proposition" out of all consoles.
EXACTLY! He never said it was reviewing in the 80s internally, he said double digits higher than the media outside, the game is in the 50s, so for them it was a 6/10 game, which they thought it was going to be good enough.
This game was probably a single player game originally and then MS took it over.
Same thing that happened with Scalebound, only they never released that one, at that point MS still cared a little.
He said the game was reviewed internally double digits higher, that's him straight up saying that he knew it was rough and at best it was reviewing in the 60s internally (it's averaging 50 outside), he released it anyway.
Double digits higher?
So in the 50s? LOL
They want to give the Activision deal another go, that's why they say stuff like this.
They just want to give the Activision deal another go, they have to show themselves as the poor little trillion dollar company.
Good guy Phil to the rescue! LOL.
Do not make BS up, you knew what you were sending out to the market as a $70 game, stop making excuses, lying POS.
Everybody and their mother have finished Red fall and seen everything there is to see (there is not a lot of content to begin with), everybody but IGN, LOL.
I think that's the only review in progress in the entire world wide web.
SO inclusive!!
They reviewed this game a 9/10? I guess the check cleared.
They do not care because they know that Xbox players with GP will take any 5/10 game and make it an 8/10 because free, the low expectations of constant handouts.
They'll downplay it, say it's fun with friends, that they have not seen that many bugs themselves and that once they are ironed out 3 years from now when nobody cares about this game anymore, that it will be a good game.
Forgot!, Wait for Starfield is their new wait for E3
Reputation? LOL
Xbox players have no expectations, they will surely love it and ask for seconds.
They probably got paid I mean, played like 3 hours and then sent out their glowing bug free review
Ideas not panning out very Different than your game being a broken 2 generations ago mess.
