The real question is how can It still be pre-alpha if it was announced 3 years ago, then how much longer until it actually releases? 2 more years? 3? Is this coming out 2025?

I did not read the article and if the title is misleading not my fault if they are trying to get people clicks through click bait titles.
LOL, WTH?!! On one side we have some of the best developers in the industry with more than 20 years releasing bangers, on the other we have MS with a super spotty history of game releases including their most recent AAA $70 game (Redfall), but hey, their Game Conference with barely any gameplay besides Starfield was ok at best and now they have the edge over Sony? LOL.
These games are not even out, most of them do not even have a release window and for all we know a good b...
If you have not liked any of the last 5 numbered titles in the FF franchise + not liking FFVIIR and not anticipating FFXVI, I think it's safe to say you just do not like FF anymore and that's that

The difference is that Sony and Nintendo has been releasing bangers for decades now, year after year, Xbox is getting credit for a game they bought that was always going to come out to Xbox anyway, Starfield was a third party game, do we give credit to MS because COD comes out every year?
Would we have given credit to MS if the Activision deal wouls had gone through by now and Diablo 4 came out?

ONE game after years and years of nothing will not do nothing, plus like MrDead said, this is not even their game, they bought the Publisher, this game was to come to PlayStation and not only that, it was always going to come out to Xbox as a third party, they did not do anything that was not going to happen anyway.
I mean, I for sure would have liked for Starfield to be on PlayStation, as it was supposed to be originally, but it is what it is.
We also have games coming out that are not for the Xbox.
I think the issue is not having the choice, I'm sure there's a combination of resolution (1080p maybe or even lower) and frame rate that allows for 60fps, they just did not want to optimize for that

One game does not equal the entire Microsoft Xbox Series X conference, 90% of the games shown 3 years ago have not released and most of them do not even have a release date now.
I mean, are they not on the console business since like 20 years ago? What where they doing in between 2017 and 2019, 4 to 6 years ago? Like why are we not getting games now? If they didn't buy Bethesda they would have literally no games

The only thing gained by Microsoft purchasing Bethesda is that their games will no longer be on PlayStation, they didn't add to theirs, they removed from others.

A few years? LOL, they stumbled across the last generation and a half, since Kinect with 360 Microsoft has not had a good year.
Yeah, they released the occasional Halo, Gears and yearly Forza, but not much else besides that.
You are in for a treat!! Just finished the demo, my excitement and anticipation are through the roof.
Numbers do not matter, they are just stuff that's in an excel sheet, stuff like if it's 4K, or frame rate, how much it reviews for, metacritic average, those are things that just go on an excel sheet, LOL.
You cannot make this up.
LOL, a few FF purists will not detract me from experiencing this game, definitely not mixed reviews when out of 88 reviews it has an 88 metascore.
It was to be expected that some reviewers change adverse would give this game a lower score.
