"If the price does increase, it is not a major concern to current subscribers. I'm curious to see if those deals of GP will stick around more importantly."
Translation: We do not care how much GP cost because we only buy the $1 a year deals!!!.
I want one BAD, but am waiting for the first hardware refresh, want a better screen and longer battery life at the very least, then will use it as an emulation station and to play stuff like Chained of Echoes, plus the occasional "modern" game.
DUDE!!!!!
That's why you just cannot trust MS, I honestly just want this to be over, tired of the whole thing, if they are going to allow the acquisition or not, just want it be done with it.
I love it how some people were so amazed and flabbergasted that Jim Ryan said he wanted to stop it, like LOL, that has been the whole point of all this back and forth for the past year+.
This is a known piece of information, a great % of GP holders just jump from game to game without actually finishing them or even putting a dent into them,
I know of YouTubers (KingThrash Gaming) that have shown receipts of plenty of Xbox Influencers by showing their Gamerscores in a lot of games (very little in that regards) and hours played (almost all cases single digits), showing how they talk a lot about the service, but do not actually play those games to completion o...
SO EXCITED!!! After getting the platinum on all the Erebonia Arc (all the Cold Steel games putting around 500 hours into them) I am currently working my way through Trails From Zero, started only now because I wanted to jump immediately unto Trails from Azure when I finished the first one. Did not want the wait I had to ensure on the Cold Steel games, LOL.
And do not even mention that an expansion is coming out literally this year, LOL.
LOL, it's that time of the month again, the time where we see daily articles bashing anything and all things PlayStation, Horizon FW feels forgotten "only" 1 year after launch? First of all this not a live service game, there should not be an expectation for continuous updates to the content like I do not know... The forgotten Halo, second an expansion is literally coming out this year AND third if you really want to talk about the franchise, a VR full fledged game JUST came out...
@actualEngineer
"Do you seriously believe that Xbox and the MS platform with it's 70+ million (old gen + next combined) user base has no sales in games outside gamepass ?!"
I mean, I'm not saying that they have NO sales whatsoever, but the numbers that we do get month after month show an ever decreasing % of sales on the systems Vs other Systems, sometimes to ridiculous levels.
So it is certainly a trend.
MS does not care about the loss in retail revenue just as you mentioned, they got the game they wanted on the service they want to push, they are golden in that regards.
Developers are the ones that care, we start seeing how people just stopped buying those Xbox games on the service altogether (maybe a large % basically stopped buying ALL games, not only the ones on the service because a large % Xbox Owners ARE subscribed to Game Pass) so they only money developers get is w...
LOLOLOLOLOLOL!
I think at this point a lot of developers just know games basically do not sales on MS platforms, so might as well just put them on Game Pass and get something or just avoid Xbox all together.
In the short term will most likely benefit Game Pass holders because it will "feel" like they are getting more and bigger games on their service, but Long term developers will just not bother, because I do believe that it will start cannibalizing sales from other platforms a...
96% of physical sales for Wo Long were on PlayStation Platforms?! That's insane!!
I know it does not include digital, but talk about Game Pass cannibalizing sales on their platform, I hope Koei Tecmo got a good amount of money out of MS, because they are certainly are not selling anything over there.
RPG? LOL
"This is an alt account and it shows lol"
Wonder how long will this alt-account last?
They do not care about if any of that, they do not care if it runs well, if it's on par with current gen, if it's full featured, of even if anybody actually buys the game on a Nintendo console, the only thing they care is that Nintendo signed the agreement so they can go and with that improve their chances to get the Activision deal to close.
LOL, so not wanting for COD (along with other Activision Blizzard games) being exclusive for MS after a certain amount of time means reducing competition?
MS be like "we already have 30 plus developers, bought Zenimax and we are a trillion dollars company, but we cannot compete against Sony so now we want to buy Activision Blizzard that along with EA is the biggest publisher in the world, we want to have as close to a monopoly as possible but Sony does not want us to,...
I mean Disney does the same with Movie Theaters, both MS and Sony negotiates this on a title or company basis with big Publishers, I consider this as kind of the same idea behind buying in bulk, where the more you buy the lower you can negotiate the price, if a publisher knows they have a 10 million plus seller, they will definitely go to Sony and MS to negotiate how much they earn about it.
I think you are onto something, they just started doing this so it took a little to get things going, hopefully and also probably they will pick up the pace the more time we give them until we have a steady release of monthly classics with added functionality.
"By GameSpot Staff on February 17, 2023 at 12:43PM PST"
They didn't even had the courage to put who wrote the review in there (checked other games, they all had who wrote it), they just put a generic GameSpot Staff, this is how much even them know this is all BS and activism disguised as "journalism".
Yep, as a completionist myself, somebody that tries as much as possible to platinum every game I play, I do feel specially burned out of Open World games by the end of them, the process is fun, you just do not want to do it again on a different game afterwards
