Too bad if he doesn't. I would rather see him up there than Kaz. I fear whenever he takes the stage.

It is there for the convenience of the consumer so that they can make an informed decision as to what media they or their children will be exposed to. Jack Thompson is not only a bottom feeder, but also a traitor to personal liberty. If you like the UK's fascism so much ,Jack, please feel free to leave the country Video Game Nazi!

I beat AvP2 for all species and Farcry. AvP2 was so good in it's day, sometimes I still play it.

Why Can't Crysis Come to Consoles?

First of all, Crysis could be ported to consoles. It's only a matter of working out how many sacrifices would need to be made to make that achievable. But if Crytek can't reach a similar quality bar as they can with the PC version of Crysis, then it's not going to happen. If Crytek still wanted to make a game for the consoles, then they'd make a new game designed specifically for the consoles. Game ports have never really worked well. Games sh...

They are still selling them on hard copy, but it's always nice to go onto Steam and see more new games for downloading. I love downloading games that I don't have to use a disk for, and if you want a hard copy just back up the game to a disk. As long as you have a username on Steam you will never loose your games.

You do know PC gamers install their games right, and they can be on more than one DVD? Sooner or later Blue-Ray drives will be a standard PC device. Your point may be valid for the 360, but it's completly wrong about the PC.

Crysis on Consoles
Cevat Yerli January 17, 2007:
“We hope we aren't disappointing anyone, but contrary to any rumours that may be in circulation, neither Crytek nor any third parties are currently engaged in developing Crysis for console platforms. Our company's sole focus at this time is to complete Crysis for PC as well and as quickly as possible, so we can release it in a timely fashion to all who have shown such a strong interest in playing our game, while insuring we meet ...

So you would have to look way back for the response by Crytek's CEO stating that they are not working on any console ports for Crysis. CryEngine 2 is being developed as a multiplatform engine, so they are looking for PS3 developers for whatever project they have planned post-Crysis, not for Crysis itself.

I think that deserves a bubble.

This list is a joke. Especially considering that FFVII(only Final Fantasy on the list) is one of the top 10 games of all time according to reviews and player surveys on GameFaq.

I think we could live without Silent Hill. The first game on PS1 was the only really good one. The second was ok, but after that it was all down hill.

Not to mention that UT kicks the crap out of Halo's multiplayer.

Yeah, thats why you see all the third party PC developers flocking to Live, right? I don't think PC developers want to be sadled with the burden of doing things Microsofts way. Doing Games for Windows and streamlining it for Vista is one thing, but having your game aspects dictated to you by Microsoft is something else. MS is just trying to cut in on they're profits. What do developers gain from using this? Nothing, unless Microsoft is paying them to put it on they're service.

Just the voice thing is arguement enough, single player acheivements are available but not multiplayer. If they restrict this what features will they restrict in the future(Any new feature that is created)? I'm not paying for something that I have had forever, especially when companies like Valve are prepared to give it to me for free. Microsoft needs to learn that PC's are not a "Console" or a platform that they control. If they want they can screw their own first party titles, but...

What about advanced server admin features and custom game types? What about multiplayer mods?!?! Will MS allow these? My guess is no.

It's also Voice chat in game, ranked games, and achievements. I have to admit I don't really care about achievements or ranked games, but voice chat is big, and only offering it to gold members is bullsh!t.

No, it's not like Steam or Battle-net, they don't make you pay for supplemental features that should be yours just for purchasing the f-ing game.

Stop being a liberal and be a libertarian. Democrates worshiped big buisness and imposing the government's will long before the Republicans jumped on the bandwagon.

ID hasn't really been living up to the expectations everyone has for them. All their games in recent memory have ranged from OK to mediocre. Doom 3 was pretty much the same as the original, walls turning into sliding doors revealing monsters, nothing new or inovative. Prey had an interesting game mechanic, but they wrapped it in unchallenging gameplay and a three year old graphics engine. The only game from ID that looks interesting is Enemy Territory, but they aren't even designing it, Splas...
