Instead of adding the price of buying an entire machine, just look at what it would cost to upgrade your current rig to gaming standards. If you have a recent computer you may already have a dual core processor, because they are the new standard. In most cases all that is required is a little memory and a better video card. The prices are usually comparable to purchasing a next-gen console system. If you are a smart purchaser you never buy the latest hardware right as it comes out. You wait s...

In PC games usually you can only play online with people who are using the same mods as you.

The only reason we haven't seen a well performing DX10 game is because they were DX9 games with some DX10 features tacked on post-production. We still haven't played a game built with DX10 from the ground up like UT. Oh an if you think the PS3 version will look better than the PC version your just being delusional. It will also play better IMO, because it won't have to accomodate for slow gamepads.

I think they left out Home because it's not really a game. It's more of a service.

I don't believe that Microsoft offers any kind of financial support to those who wish to be a part of "Games for Windows". All a developer has to do is adheare to Microsoft's guidlines, and they are given permission to use the "Games for Windows" stamp.

The last time I checked PC games didn't need to have their quality bar raised. This is just MS's lame attempt to force 3rd party dev's to do what MS says, and reserve supplemental features, that we have come to expect, for Gold Members...like voice chat. Why do you think Blizzard and Valve won't touch it with a ten foot pole?

This game is looking much more appealing to me know that I know that it's based on a fictional conflict and that they are not going to try and attach it to any of the questionable conflicts of our time. The graphics are a big step from what I've come to expect from COD. The environments and the partical effects still aren't the best but the character models and the animations are looking much better than COD3's.

The only thing I wish was that they modeled the assault rifle closer to the 2005 video, that one looked so much cooler, other than that I am totally stoked for this game.

The environments are still the same flat un-natural designs, but with higher polygon textures.

what's the difference? Does it matter if there are more PS3 fans than 360 fans? You know what? I'm pissed there aren't more PC fans, but I'm not whinning and crying. I'm posting PC game new and disscussing it with other like minded people.

If this is another sh!t port that doesn't even use mouse controls I'm going to be really pissed.

Even if the fist Killzone didn't have the gameplay to back it up, I always loved their art direction. I love the Helghan designs and I love the weapons. From what I've seen I really like the blood splatter effect and the environments are looking amazing.. The anticipation was well worth it, I can't wait to play it.

Yeah this will work...just as soon as MS and Sony lower their product price enough to compete with Nintendo. I really hate arguments like this, like the ones where cellphones take over the gaming industry. If you want to keep selling games to real "gamers", then casual mini-games aren't going to suffice.

Epic has talked about possibly bringing mods to consoles but only ones that they deem worthy, it will be nothing like the hordes of tweaks, maps, models, weapons, or total conversions that will be available to PC gamers.

Beware the J-RPG MMO's they're usually poor and don't seem to catch on well.

This really sums up the Wii nicely for me. Wii: As fun and as groundbreaking as a 15 year table-top game.

For one reason above all others....MODS, and UT has a larger modder fanbase than most games. You can talk about possible console game modding all you want, but PC gamers will be making mods the day this game is released. Having mods is like being able to download games free and legal. PC Mods equal greated possibilities and much more replayability.

Other than the Wi-Fi internet browser I couldn't care less about the I-Phone. What normal person has $600 to drop on a cellular phone plus the 2-year contract that starts at $60 a month? I've already got an I-Pod Video with 60gigs, when you make an I-Pod with an internet browser then maybe we'll talk. In the end the I-Phone is just a flashy piece of tech for snobs with too much money, or for consumer idiots willing to bankrupt themselves to have one.
