I don't know what stake MS has in HD-DVD, but they didn't pay off Paramount. HD-DVD is Toshiba's media format not MS's.
They don't exsist. If you can't find any faults with a game then you probably aren't looking. Reviews that give perfect scores most often lack depth. Nothing against HS, I'd say the same thing about Halo, Bioshock, or Gears.
While I'm sure Rockstar could put the money to good use, developers should never show favor to one side of a multiplatform game. It they are going to favor one console over another they should just make it exclusive and make the best game possible. No one wants to play a substandard version of any game.

There will always be people like JT, so there always needs to be someone to counter him. If people like JT are allowed to go on unopposed for too long people tend to take what he says for truth.
The only thing the first FarCry game and this one have in common is wide open environments. Ther are some impressive visuals there, like the fire effect. I also heard that they will be including simulated wild life, but no aggressive animals(Lions and such) and no endangered species, so they are basically there for you to shoot at and don't really add to the game much.
Blu-Ray has a good deal to do with gaming(Included on PS3 increasing it's price, media for all PS3 games with possible benefits for game developers). HD-DVD has only a passing association with gaming(Stand alone peripheral for Xbox 360 with no impact on games or game development).
Have you ever played WOW? The game is immense. There is so much to do and see, and it never really gets old.
I wouldn't mind seeing a simultaneous release of Gears 2 for 360 and PC.
I come from a PC gaming background, where games actually advance, not stay the same but with arm flailing. Sure a Wii game can be amusing, just not for an extended period of time. How many times can you play as the same plumber. Look at all the big Nintendo games there are on their 20th iteration now? They really need some fresh material.

Edit: Didn't realize this was a PSP game. In which case, I guess it looks ok for a handheld game.
If people didn't eat chickens, cows, pigs, ect... would there be any reasone to keep feeding them and keep them all alive? I don't think they would be released into the wild. Hey PITA, ever heard of the food chain? Go to Africa and see if the Lions or Alligators have any qualms about eating you alive.
If every developer and manufacturer took the Nintendo path, the kind of game that I and alot of other , more than casual, gamers enjoy would be gone. There would be no more games that would prove interactive media as an art form. Just hordes of mildly amusing and shallow minigames.

You just lost any credibility you may have had. That game was the lamest excuse for a C&C game I ever played. It was one of the most mediocre RTS games ever with C&C stamped on it to give it a boost. It had the same Dam breaking scenario in each campaign. Not to mention it was laden with propaganda ex: Bhagdad mission "Careful Men, it might be anthrax" as the enemy gases a group of it's own citizens.
The hype machine has gone too far. Please stop now so I can enjoy this game, and not have to tear it down for not being "The Best Game Ever".

I wouldn't say modern gadgets and the internet are addictive, it is that they have become neccesities for living in a modern world. Whether it is for work or personal use. If we can't connect we are cut off from the world.
Why would he even be that stupid to actually say this? Is this good marketing, telling part of your users base that you are feeding them crap? This guy sounds like the marketing director from hell. The only thing he has accomplished is tarnishing his companies reputation. Now gamer's beliefs that EA only cares about money and not quality games is reinforced.
