I've tried the Wii and I was not impressed. I expected games that would capitalize on the freedom of full range motion, instead we got the same kind of games, except now flailing is the same as pushing a button. It's a gimick dressed up to look like more than it really is. The Wii is like an expesive board game. You pull it out when there is other people around, but for a majority of the time it just doesn't get used.
What ever happened to all the flight games? Besides rare games like Rouge Squadron, Ace Combat, Blazing Angels, and Lair. There is hardly a flight Sim/Aerial Combat Genre anymore. I can't remember the last Space flight/Combat game that came out on any console. Does anyone remember Colony Wars for PS? What happened to this genre?
I look at games like LAIR and Heavenly Sword as kind of the fallout from the bungled beggining and original mismanagement of the PS3. These games simply became vehicles for new features that Sony wanted to present, so they could justify adding them to the PS3. These games focused too much on these new features and ignored other issues like gameplay. I think Warhawk would have turned out the same way if they didn't decide later in development that Multiplayer only was the way to go. Once we ge...
Beautifull games, games with physics, games as art, games with adult themes, MMO's, RPG's, and online multiplayer games.
That's only if they design the game for mouse support. They didn't do it for RE4. Modders had to make a fix so you could use the mouse to play.
The PC version of DMC3 was a joke too. You couldn't even navigate the main menu with a mouse, you had to use a gamepad. It was like playing on a crappy emulator. Games like DMC just don't belong on PC.
Maybe they can give it more attention this way. I think if it was held up to other PC shooters it just wouldn't look as good. Hopefully this will be a solid shooter for the PS3.
I think this game has missed it's mark. This should have been released 6 months ago. With all the games we are seeing now a game like this based on Doom III's engine isn't exactly impressive.
I'll let my boss know that I'm taking time off to do my civic duty to play more video games.
How do you suspend the PSEye over the playing board? Are they going to give you the suspension arm you see in all the video's?
If it anything like other 3d hardware or software, the screen will flash between images intended for your left and right eyes. This will give the illusion of depth in your games.
his kind of woman :P
I've always done Playstation and PC gaming, and I wouldn't give up either of them.
I don't own an Xbox 360, but I'm still curious to see how well this game does and how it is recieved.
Does it involve wearing silly headgear, because I've tried it. While it is cool, the novelty wears off fast.
Your PedoBear Avatar scares me :_(
HD DVD is their product isn't it? How the hell did people get it in their head that MS owns HD DVD? They just sell an add on for their console. As far as I know that is their only involvement in the format war.
Worms Armaggedon for PC was amazing. I'm on the verge of getting a PSP, but I'm waiting for something to push me over the edge. The line up of games for PSP is definitly getting better, hopefully we'll see the same thing happen for PS3 soon.
I think Uncharted is a perfect name. If you're looking for bad names how about "Witcher". What the hell does thet even mean? Since when was Witch a verb?
For the United States anyway. We are seriously lagging behind other tech-enables countries like Japan and many European nations in bandwidth and broadband penetration. It's become a political issue. Should broadband internet be a necessary utility and what constitutes a broadband connection?
