Most will give it to MW2 because it's multiplatform

Are they that greedy that they'd rather put less money into the game and more money into their pockets? Pretend like they're the best devs that they don't need money, what kind of joke is that - there's many devs out there that would kill to have even a decent budget. I'd understand if the money was all going to marketing, which would be bs.

Think of how good the game could have looked and played had they outsourced the lighting and ai like killzone2 did, or used weta motion cap...

He seems careful not to include it should be bigger like San Andreas, and include back country like San andreas did.

Because he doesn't want the game going PS3 only, which would be the only way for rockstar to pull off a bigger game.

Sounds like this game is gonna hit close to home, at least for most of us Americans.

It's about time they started doing this on shoddy ports. I would go even further and charge $10 less on ps3.

"We're of the age now where we no longer find such things erotic, but it's quite funny to look at."

That's funny to me really those aren't erotic? Might be hard to masterbate to, but this in no way turns this guy on?

maybe microsoft's numbers are just inflated with people rebuying systems from rrod? I don't know how you conclude there's more active gamers on 360 in europe than ps3 looking at these numbers.

How does having a 'better business model' help you? It doesn't. It helps them and you lose - they're more profitable at your expense. You're calling it 'regulation' like Microsoft is the government, no actually what your talking about is called monopolization.

This is actually sort of true. The multi-disk issue yea it's still debatable, because it makes the system cheaper (but heck both full consoles are now $299 so you can't really use it anymore). But yea there is a lot to put up with, paying for online- then watching ads every time you go on, poor hardware, noisy hardware, 'exclusives' that eventually come to PS3, they underfund/rush development on their own games. call 10 dollars '800 points' obviously to trick your mind into thinking it's onl...

I don't mind the score, and love GTA but...
Graphics 9.5/10....... c'mon really...
IGN just really shows us how credible they really are, i don't care if it's an open world game or not, this game shouldn't be in the 95th percentile of console graphics, it's not even close to U2.

This game came out in the arcades a long long time ago, and they never improved the graphics, so It's just a very late release of an old game. Who knows why it was delayed for so long, it should of been out last year, my guess is the 360 version combined with the fact they wanted to release before the holiday. 360 did sink this game no doubt about it, more so because of the delay than the graphics being restricted. They want to kill the franchise they can go right ahead and do it. Perhaps ...

I'm actually curious how many people actually are able to hook a pc up to their tv, and have been using the Netflix streaming before xbox360 even had it, I know I did when I used to get Netflix, that is still the way to go. I really don't understand why this is a big deal, the library of what you can stream on there sucks, and you have to be a subscribing member of netflix even then. I guess it is because Microsoft didn't have much for games last year/this year so netflix-streaming filled t...

The fact of the matter this will blow away every other JRPG released graphically by a large margin. And it will be a better game, xbox fans should be very happy they're getting this game otherwise all those jrps released before would all be for not. Personally though I'm looking more forward to FF14, I bet the next one will really catch on.

Sony should hit them back with their timed exclusive stance, meaning no thanks unless you add more content than Microsoft got.

I really want to see them throw the first 2 campaigns into the 3rd game and put splitscreen/online co-op for all of them to make up for the lack of co-op the second game had, I think it's a great idea.

I can see where he's coming from with the 7/10 review. Sure Tools of destruction and quest for booty were great looking, great games, just a tad repetitive. I actually wonder if it's just the fact I've outgrown the audience for them and the story is just too pixar-like and kiddy to keep me interested in seeing where it goes. As good of a game as it is, I just don't think it was made for my age group(25) and my tastes. I think that's what this reviewer experienced, he just didn't realize it...

They're not using the 'same engine' per say it's already been improved, they showed some of the improvement in the 'real time' advertisement they made for KZ2.

5999d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

from what I heard Guerilla was already pretty much done with the game in fall of 2008, they just delayed it for a more open schedule and not to eat into resistance 2 sales. So they have been working on KZ3 well before KZ2 was done, actually.

You do realize Sony doesn't actually make either game, they're made by different developers Guerilla games and Insomniac, it's not hard for them to 'focus' on both if need be.
