??? Lag?? Are you kidding me, seems like you're trying to spread lies. Lag rarely ever happens in MAG. It's using dedicated servers with no host advantage. Maybe your connection is suspect?
Agreed, after 10 hours of mag, then trying this demo, the only thing better about BC2 was the scenery - it was a huge letdown after the hype it generated. MAG is the new king of Online shooters, this game is just so unorganized.
This score is more in line with what I think about the game.
Sad thing is every publisher does this now days, it's not just Sony. They probably blacklisted them cause their deal probably said the review had to be 9/10 to come out early.
Sonic CD was the best one, how come they didn't include that in the video..
Maybe IGN is getting it's credibility back??(UK anyway) I was seriously thinking there was no way this game would score under 8.5 from them. With all the crazy high scores they've been giving high profile multi-platform games lately this is a bit of a shocker to be honest. I'm almost wondering if the way they bombed mag and WKC gave them some perspective, like as if now they gotta start making it harder for other games.
While the score is a shocker, 5.1 is absolute crap. I may see why they'd score this game so low, but I'm still very interested in it, I'm a person that likes MMORPG esqe mechanics, and average joe reviewer seems to hate that and hate everything JRPG nowdays as well.
Aren't the graphics 1080p in this one? I can't believe they'd score last remnant higher though, that game was a terrible videogame.

I thought they were overpowered more so in the beta, but I don't mind at all.. Playing with my Valor clan we win quite a bit, but are less effective in domination I'll admit. It makes a major victory over sver that much better, and more of a challenge when it does happen. Doesn't bother me too much.
I agree with you 100% - try saying you didn't like ME2 or Bayonetta. It's funny enough to me when someone's delusional enough to not realize their own console's fans do the same thing.

Funny this guy can't get over the fact that yes, the best of Hollywood does tell better stories than Videogames, Get over it man. Most of us like movies too, we're not stupid enough to know that most videogame storylines are told in something that would be absolutely laughed off the silver screen. Hollywood is something to aspire to (not all of it though.) what a pathetic reason to bash a game, cause it's probably not on his console of choice.

Well Final Fantasy has always been known for it's graphics, if they have to reduce the graphics on the main version to make them equal - I doubt that's something SE would agree to. The franchise is too important to them.

What's 'reputable'? Eurogamer and lensoftruth(change the brightness to make the ps3 version look inferior).. It's funny to watch you guys uncomfortable by what's about to happen. Yes a PS3 version will come out superior, just like dragon's age.. It happens
Gamers aren't scared of multiple disks, Microsoft IS. It makes their (equally priced) console inferior. There's a reason MS forces higher royalties in games that span multiple disks. If dev studios get used to creating lots of content for games, then all of a sudden want to do a free roaming game, they won't want to have to backtrack and downscale the visuals. As well as the fact every game being one disk on PS3 becomes a selling point - if most games start doing 2+ disks on 360.
This kind of seems like When Zipper used credit card verification on Socom 3... Bad idea, as much as I'd like to have everyone use a mic - I also want to be able to play domination games every now and then.
Maybe they'll cap you at level 14 or something if you don't have a mic.
I do agree the MGS install thing is stupid, but no one really cares cause the game is just plain awesome. I'd think few other games could get away with it without being docked. At least they do it in style too.
Mass Effect is really cool I have the first one, gunna get the second one, with that said: Why is the entire gaming press in love with the fact a game has a branching storyline? Were choose your own adventure books really that good??? It's the same thing pretty much here. I personally don't like it - tell us the story how it's meant to be told, and polish that up a whole lot.

MAG I'm gettin, I'll probably get ME2 somewhere down the line at a discount - problem is I still have to finish the first one.
MAG is the game I imagined a war fps would be long before they ever hit the market. Zipper has successfully created something that has long been impossible. The map/game design is phenomenal, each map is specifically designed for a certain faction to defend and another to attack. (with specific advantages based on that factions strengths and weaknesses)
Finally here we are in 2010 living the war shooter dream. So many players, and it works.. Pass on MAG - It's your loss; lots ...
