DLC is crap for all games, It shouldn't be there for at least 6 months after a game comes out. Most publishers cut parts of the game to charge your for it now days.

The bad news is they're trying to make a new unique experience, they didn't want it to be just like confrontation, with confrontation on the market already. Confrontation kind of modeled itself after 1 and 2, albeit unsuccessfully with a lack of polish. Hard to say if Zipper will ace it or not, MAG was pretty good though.
I honestly thought Socom C wasn't bad the downside was poor player models and few maps.
The same looking unrealistic open field run animations, still not fixed.. nobody runs in a perfect manner like that, it really kills the immersion for me - they've had what 6 tries, still no cigar.

Well it costs them almost nothing to give away a free extra copy, and it's almost always, at least in my shares been someone who wouldn't have bought it themselves. (they're not having to burn disks here) It also allows for more people to be playing the downloadable content when they actually release it, so few are left out in the cold cause they're broke. Sony wasn't stupid when they implemented it, I'm sure they did all the math - proved that it wouldn't hurt anything in the bigger pictur...

In the US, someone sees 800 MS points, they think '8 dollars' especially if they're accustomed to the wii. It's deliberately misleading - I don't know how you can argue otherwise. You go in thinking you're going to pay 8 Dollars, leave with a 10 dollar bill - yea I'd say that's a scam - its taking advantage of people.
I've had my PS3 for close to 3 years, and I've used the same controller the whole time, the battery is in no way close to needing to be replaced.. I hear this argument all the time, but who actually has needed to replace the battery of a PS3 controller?
