I really hope they'll have some kind of auto-in for the PS3 beta, I really don't want to miss this. And I have a PC, but it's underpowered and might struggle to run FFXIV, and would much rather be in the PS3 beta, so by signing up would I be missing out on the PS3 one?

It says which console was searched most on consumer electronics websites, now wait a second - maybe these people heard about the RROD and wanted to research that before buying??

The catch is you have to pay for it, I thought maybe they'd give something away, you know it being the season of giving and what not.
The lowered price first weekend is considered a 'gift' to the fans, although it's not much - considering most people to get it week 1 are the hardcore players.

Warner's glad to take on the publishing after the risk has been taken on by someone else on the first game. Sounds like rocksteady is screwing Eidos.
I don't get why people like this game. I've given it a fair shot played the demo 4x on over, played the 360 demo a couple times.. I don't get why people think this game is outstanding.
All these GG guys are getting jobs all over the industry, yet people who don't own KZ2 continue to shun what may be the best technical achievement of all time for video games.
It looks like a call of duty: modern warfare clone... Funny thing is Call of Duty was originally like a Medal of Honor clone, now they're back to return the favor maybe.... Graphics look good, but how much can this theme be pushed before it grows old... or will this be something still doing sequels 10 years from now?
I honestly think they should have waited a bit and did more a 'full expansion' complete with about as many levels as the main game..
These little DLC packs just don't really generate enough excitement.
I definitely agree that this was in-engine probably, but game play can vary from that quite a bit. I remember MGS4, man those in-engine cutscenes were gorgeous, they looked a lot like the game engine, but some of the textures in that game were really nothing to write home about. and From what I've seen from Final fantasy XIII, the cutscenes do look noticeably better than the game engine(althought the game engine is no slouch.) So we really haven't seen this game yet.
I saw a lot of bloom, the character models and facial animations were a lot better than halo 3, but still not anything too impressive. This game might be a victim of over hype on the graphics side of things, as we all want to see it have a good outstanding engine. Gameplay/story side of things could still save it but they got to do a lot better than 3/odst.
We saw no game play which might mean one of two things, the gameplays just not close to being ready to show, or it's not ...
