No, on iOS you HAVE to be on the App Store as there is no other way of legally providing the game. On Android any device can technically install the APK for various locations.
Except all the examples you just gave weren’t paid by Sony to keep them from other platforms. Nier was always going to be PC and PS4 first then Xbox as they wanted To get the game out then concentrate on porting it. Same with HellBlade - that dev is small and couldn’t do both consoles at once.
NMS basically went to Xbox because their 2 years agreement due to Sony funding the game ended and they wanted more players due to the playerbase on PS4 being pretty much non existent ...
Phil Spencer did sod all...
Seriously - why does everyone think that a game which doesn’t launch the same day on two platforms is instantly a ‘timed exclusive’? It wasn’t a Fimed Exclusive. It was put on PS4 first because the devs are more adapted to console development, and the they continued work on the PC version until it was announced.
Was monster hunter world a ‘timed exclusive’ on consoles just because the PC version didn’t launch the same day? No. They worked on it to continue optimising it be...
I said this yesterday yet I was bombarded with comments of people thinking it would actually happen. We’ll get sunset overdrive and Alan wake on PS4 before Nioh appears on Xbox
That would be highly unfair. If it was a written review then I’m sure they have a process of checking if it’s been copied online as there are sites that do that I think, but seeing as the original review was a small-ish channel and all verbal, it would be almost impossible to detect what had happened.
I don't wanna name anyone but this is an issue I have with another site. A guy put out a review for a PSVR game which isn't even showing up on their only console as ever being played - yet they did a written and video review over it. I also see many reviews for games which he spent about 10-15 minutes playing based on in-game timers. One such was OnRush - the in-game profile said they had spent 25 minutes playing and that was enough for him to give it a full review supposedly.
The game is digital only apart from physical copies which aren't out yet. He will have obtained it off a publisher, dev or PR - I got mine via Terminals and it came with strict instructions not to break the embargo and only steam/gameplay footage with no opinions was allowed before yesterday.
sure, I agree that this issue is bigger than the whole "putting out a review early" but still, if he hadn't put it out early then the guy wouldn't have copied and...
They were never exclusives though - Hell Blade and No man's sky were on PC at launch - do you know what exclusive means?
Those lists are so wrong. They have thrown all the original Xbox and 360 games into the list just to pad it out - remove those (as the vast majority don't even play those) and maybe add in all the PS4 titles it has clearly missed out like all the KT games, and you'll see the difference
The PS4 side is missing all the VR games that were enhanced, all the indies, the niche titles etc... A lot of the enhancements aren't really detailed online very well which is why...
https://www.xbox.com/en-gb/... - 148 games - to those asking.
Also, the PS4 doesn't list all of the enhanced titles in that section as it hasn't been updated for a while. The old Neogaf had a list what was being put together with all the found enhancements (as a lot of games don't scream and should about them) and there were over 300 when Neogaf shut down a while ago - there ha...
Blatant copying but I think the bigger issue is - why was a video review posted before the embargo lifted for ALL video and written reviews which lifted yesterday? Unless he did it and omitted the score? Either way - it was clearly mentioned that all reviews of any kind were under the embargo - something they seemed to ignore?
I won’t be replying to anything you say as I don’t want to get involved in your stupid console fanboy war. However, the Xbox one X has less than 150 enhanced games (when you filter on the Xbox site) - the PS4 has over 300 + a whole bunch of psvr titles. So yeah, the pro does actually have a whole bunch more.
Don’t forget the pro was out a year longer and got games enhanced like earlier COD games, Deus Ex and all the exclusives.
Also, other than a boost ...
Fake news I’m afraid. As the chat said, the IP is KT but the actual publishing and console exclusivity lies with Sony. How the site took that convo and twisted it into ‘it may be coming’ is beyond me.
Well, looking at the name of the site, I imagine its an Xbox biased/fanboy ran site. This is going to fuel a lot of the fanboys on YouTube though.
you wouldn't - the touch controls are crap and it's almost impossible to play the vast majority of the games correctly.
Do you know what a Beta is primarily used for? It's not to dish out new features all over the place and totally reinvent the wheel. They are ensuring that the actual firmware works and doesn't break on various devices with different setups and things installed.
For all we know, there could be a lot of things under the hood which isn't activated yet, but they need to ensure the code isn't messing with anything before it goes live.
I don...
I grew tired of TT games around the GoT series - they knew a sequel was planned so they made the ending crap so you need season 2 - same with Minecraft, give us a SP for 5 episodes yet 4 are season one and 1 is season two, so you have to buy the other SP in order to get the full story.
However, I have played all of their WD games and a few of the others since. But then, I played this demo the other night and I instantly pre-ordered it - this game is such a massive leap over...
4 PS4 games - Mafia 3, dead by daylight, knowledge and here they lie - here they lie has a non-VR mode now.
In case people weren't aware - Here they Lie can be played in or out of VR via a patch from about 6 months ago. So it's basically a game for all users and not just PSVR owners.
Nobody bothered to read the article? Judging by the comments in here o would imagine they saw the title, decided to post their opinions and then end up complaining about things the article isn’t even about.
It’s all about the guy with an opened game trying to sell it as ‘new’. According to Amazons T+C directly, you can’t sell an item as new if it’s not. He should have put it as ‘like-new’.
Here in the UK, you can’t sell many big publishers Games new on am...
