That’s the problem you, And everyone else has here. You’re all saying the reviewer should review it as is it’s the early 2000’s. Why?
The game comes out tomorrow. Regardless of the fact it came out years ago, we are reviewing the product out tomorrow, not 20 years ago. The game itself is riddled with bugs and glitches atm so that obviously impacts your enjoyment from the game, plus the game has aged badly and doesn’t hold up to today’s standards.
So agai...
I don’t want to ruin your expectations but all the bugs and issue I found in both games aren’t listed in the patch notes we were given when we got our codes. I’ve reported all the issues I’ve had but they most likely won’t be in the patch tomorrow.
We already received a big patch before we got codes - as we only got the game on Friday. That also didn’t fix any of these issues.
Shenmue 1 is buggier But can be ‘fixed’ by saving and reloading. Shenmue 2 ho...
Quite the opposite :) - I have no nostalgia for the game so I saw the game fresh as a new potential customer (potential as I got the product free from SEGA).
I can see why people like the game and hold it high in favourite game lists and they’ll defend the game til they die - but as a new set of eyes, the game really isn’t technically or visually that impressive in 2018.
It’s a shame because I really wanted to like it and see what everyone else saw in i...
@DJStotty - well, EA have a service on the Xbox console, so MS has to legally provide them with solid numbers so they know what their target audience is. So yeah, EA will have the most accurate numbers out there rather than sites which take estimates and people who update the Wiki sites with no factual information or evidence...
The Xbox one isn't even at 38m either - it was 29m as per EA leak info in March - I doubt they have sold more than 2-3m since then
"LONG DISC INSTALLATION TIMES - This one really bugs me, and it’s not necessarily a problem with just the Xbox One." - I think you'll find it is just the Xbox. The PS4 lets you play the game within seconds of putting in the disc and it installs the game in the background whilst letting you play off the disc directly until it's been installed. Xbox is the only one which forces you to wait for ages whilst it copies the data to the HDD
I can't give the full details (embargo and all that) but yeah, that size is a bit wrong :)
All the media outlets are once again twisting what was said to meet their agenda of trying to make Sony look like the bad guy. The actual quote was that the ‘answer’ could be dire, not the ‘situation’. He’s saying the answer may be that the PS4 doesn’t get another free to play card game which is plagued with micro transactions. That’s all.
Also, fallout 76 isn’t a cross play multiplayer game. It’s multiplatform but each platform has its own independent multiplayer.
"Threatens gaming history" What about spinning the narrative and have that using the emulators in order to obtain and play illegal copies of games which are still avaliable for purchase on various platforms actually threatens gaming future...
This generation is full of entitled people who demand they must own everything and it should all be free because in real life it doesn't cost anything for a studio to make a game or put it out there. Sure, a lot of the ga...
"But, the PC has its own set of problems, such as the lack of real mouse input, absent high-quality textures, bugged water reflexions, lack of support for ultrawide monitors, no official support for mods, motion blur, lack of FOV tuning and several users are reporting that the game don't even boot. "
If there is an issue with the mouse and straight up technical issues with booting then fair enough. But everything else (apart from maybe the water reflections as...
Well, it took me just over 50 hours on the PS4 version to complete my first playthrough and there are three campaigns (slightly different) with the third unlocked later on which has more content than the other two. It's quite long!
because the pro can run GoW at a higher and more stable framerate whilst pushing the resolution higher if you wish for a cleaner looking image on a 4k tv. The only reason you see a visible big difference on the X over the S is that it's like comparing an iPhone 4 to an iPhone X - the S is the lowest console (not including the Switch) so the X can actually do a pretty big jump over it.
Also, no - it's not a 'scam' - why do people keep inventing definitions f...
Cool - I do agree that Sony should make it more visible but I guess they don't feel games should be rewarded or chosen based on their possible updates though. I know a lot of the toxic Fanboys on YouTube go on and on about the Xbox and claim they will only buy games with an obvious X enhancement and won't touch anything which hasn't got an increased resolution over the PS4 version - like the resolution actually affects the gameplay...
I have noticed that if you ...
If you read the article and believe the imaginary 'facts' it makes up then sure. It claims there are 30 enhanced titles on the Pro - there are over 350 so far if you factor in the PSVR enhanced titles as well. The Pro is a great console to have if you want the best out of your games on the Playstation - everything runs better and a lot of games also look better as well.
Just wanted to point out that no, 90% of the games aren't on the Xbox - it's more like around 70-75% are on the Xbox and about 5-90% of Xbox games are on the PS4.
Wait a minute - does the article really say there are only 30 games on the PS4 Pro which offers PS4 Pro enhancements? the whole article is null and void as it appears to have been written by someone who doesn't actually keep up with the latest news...

if they changed it AFTER I read it then why is it ironic? I was going off what it said when I read it and at that point it made out the guy was selling an opened game as 'new' which was causing everyone at the time to presume Bethesda was trying to stop general second-hand sales - which wasn't the point in that context.
Read the article... it says it was unwrapped - so that’s the issue.
Although after re-reading it, it also says it was sealed. So iwhich is true? If it was unwrapped then he can’t sell as ‘new’. If it’s sealed then they may be like Sony and MS studios in the uk wher you can’t list their games as new on the store
Maybe read the article and not the headline? He listed it as a ‘new’ copy when it was opened. That’s the issue. Not that you can’t sell it in general, you just can’t sell on amazon (in general) as new if the item isn’t still factory sealed
It’s most likely not just because of the pacing. You’ve not played the game - the issues are pretty bad and we don’t know when they will be resolved. Also, a review score is just their opinion. It isn’t right or wrong. However, I agree with the points made as I also found the game not that fun based on it being a game out tomorrow a disregarding the fact it came out 20 years ago.
It should have received a remaster - instead, it’s nothing but a port with a few additions.
