If you prefer reviews that scored the game 8s and 9s, that is fine. Quoting them to explain why my review is 'wrong' or why I 'don't understand Thief' is rather uncalled for don't you think? My review doesn't have to fall in line with those, or the assortment of 5-7s the game got either. It's been mixed.
It's simply my opinion though - and holds no authority or command at all :) Neither my word nor a metacritic average is gospel. I have lo...
Or you could read the article and see where the reference came from.
Spoiler: "Meow" will be a chat command in Daylight.
Quote: "The example we’ve been tossing around (and is in no way final) is that someone watching a stream types the word “Meow” into the chat, which causes the game to make a corresponding sound of a cat. So yes. You can literally scare your friends now by watching the stream."
@Theyellowflash30
I think the articles on the Vita have died down since Remote Play has proved an effective use of the device for the PS4, and Sony's handheld is looking to live up to being its companion device.
The thought of being able to play absolutely any game on your Vita through remote play is most likely making people very optimistic about the handheld and making them not regret their decision as they probably did before.
@KingKelloggTheWH
These people aren't doing anything. It is unrealistic to assume that every gamer facing these analogue issues were all negligent.
I myself take great care of my tech. I could still use my original Sixaxis controllers by the end of the PS3's life cycle even.
Yet my DS4 controllers, which I love, suffered these issues as well.
It's simply a manufacturing defect by the looks of it. The statement...
There's not a common link though. Not everyone who reported wear and tear on the analogue sticks could have been treating their controllers badly.
Furthermore, I take good care of my electronics. My original Sixaxis controllers on the PS3 were still usable after over 6 years of ownership. Not a single one of my PS3 controllers (by the end of the PS3's life-cycle I had about five or six laying around) ever showed wear and tear on the rubber of the analogue sticks, and ...
Really sorry to hear that :( I don't think there's anything wrong with the analogue stick itself, as it functions perfectly. This is purely to do with its rubber casing, and perhaps a case of the wrong material or design used.
I adore my PS4 controller, it's among the best I've ever used on a console and my favourite personally. But it seems like the rubber material is not very durable and quite soft, so it can get damaged quite easily accidentally.
Even if there isn't an accident, it does make me worry as to how it will last over the next five years or so.
I'm happy to hear that yours are still perfect despite plenty of play time :)
Thanks guys for the great comments and information about Knack! I don't mind a good old-school game, and I certainly appreciate something different rather than a console hypothetically opening with a bunch of military shooters for example :P Will definitely be playing it tomorrow ;)
Happy to hear you guys loved the game, gives me a lot more faith!
Yep! It's available here in South Africa from today :) I am dying of excitement to get mine tomorrow, so trying to avoid all manners of social media where people are posting their pictures of it and making me a sad potato :(
Very keen to fire up Killzone and Knack! I have noted the critical reception of Knack, but I like to get my own opinion and I don't always agree with the majority of critics :) Funnily enough though, I am one myself.
I realise my comment came across fanboyish in the wrong way :) Was meant to be light-hearted, nothing more.
Considering this video is about wanting Microsoft to recover from this and all.
Hehehe thanks for the laugh, bud, well said indeed :D
As the maker of this video, I am getting a PS4 and I am a Sony/PlayStation fan - I admit that freely in the video.
Just trying to offer up some (hopefully) interesting discussion and talk my way through where Xbox One is right now :)
Awesome! How long is the game roundabout, treeson47?
Good choice Iltalapanyymi! You won't regret it :D
This is just for fun, and for those who need to see some gameplay and such before they make a purchasing decision :)
I've only played 30 minutes, but I can tell you, out of the dozens and dozens of horrors I play, this is something tremendously special.
Red Barrels is made up of veterans who worked on the likes of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted: Drake&...
Holy hell you might be onto something there, nick309.
Hahaha xD But few things get the blood pumping like a great horror game!
As I said zeroskie, the intention was in no way serious and I apologise for the mistake. I'm not one to sensationalise, and this was done for the purposes of being random and nothing else more than that.
I know for future now not to joke about things like this. I didn't think it would be taken seriously or literally (I mean the video itself is labelled as "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Visual And Gameplay Mods ").
I thought it was pretty obvi...
Strangely I actually do all of them with the exception of six since there's little way to be sure of that one on a regular basis.
But really, as my comment above suggests, I was at fault for the headline and I apologise for it, but I am genuinely surprised it was taken seriously.
Looking back it was probably way too much of a hyperbole, but I am genuinely surprised that it was taken seriously or literally.
Guess the fault is with me for substituting "PC Gaming" for Life at an attempt to be random, so I apologise for that.
But it really is in zero way serious. It's not even mentioned in the article or video.
Since I can't change the headline on N4G, I can do it on-site.
You have a warped definition of what constitutes as sensationalism, 4Sh0w.
Also, you need to understand that only Microsoft can be responsible for taking away those features. The only thing gamers wanted was no restrictions, red tape, the ability to actually own our games and not to be treated with prison rules.
That is not even asking for anything. It's what we have right now.
Do you know what? The awesome features like Family Sharing...
1. I played the game for almost fifteen hours, completing it on Master with added modifiers on my first playthrough and played the first five or so chapters again on normal to experiment with combat take downs and other enabled features. I derped around with Remote Play. I also have played and currently own its predecessors. I can post a screenshot of my playtime if you'd like, but I guess that would be photoshopped, right?
2. "And it does justify the full price unle...
