As long as I live I'll never ever understand the ridiculousness of giving a game 99 percent.
Why not just give it the 100 if it's earned?
The argument about nothing being perfect is stupid, we all know nothing is perfect. But the number scale is 0 to 100, not 1 to 99. Essentially 99 ends up being your perfect score because you can't go higher than that.
There are tons of games that can be close to perfect and deserving of...
Will it feature games?
I love my Switch, but I haven't touched Nintendo online since it launched. No way I'm paying for another subscription service that offers nothing. Don't mind sticking to single player until it does.
Let's break down how you have failed to take into account all of the facts with this comment.
1) 1080p/60fps etc mattered AT THE TIME because the OG Xbox One was $100 MORE expensive than the base PS4 but was inferior in power. Ergo as an Xbox player you were getting directly inferior products to PlayStation as the NORM. Everyone was on that playing field. The difference now is that the Xbox One X is priced higher because it is a premium console for a specific audience, ...
I disagree. BioWare's worst game is, and has always been, Dragon Age 2. The degree of laziness and copy-pasting in that game was a disgrace - it was a shadow of the game Dragon Age: Origins was, in scope and complexity. Not to mention it spawned that awful 'Halo, Sarcasm, Douchebag or Sexytime' dialogue tree.
Andromeda is next on the list - even the ending of Mass Effect 3 is better.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots required multiple discs on PS3 with installations between Acts. But that's because Hideo Kojima went overboard and used uncompressed sound in addition to the game having ridiculous graphics. Legend, he is.
Reasons why this article is stupid:
1. It exists.

I'm sorry but your comment is flat out stupid for two reasons.
One, Ellie was shown to be a lesbian four years ago in The Last of Us Left Behind DLC. Get over it.
Two, Cyberpunk is a ROLE PLAYING GAME giving players agency and choice in how they approach their character and story. The Last of Us 2 is a narrative-driven game, you're experiencing the developer's story.
If you can't understand the distinction, or are still...
Personally, I'm far happier it's Insomniac. They're much more fun and creative and good with humour, given their games like Ratchet and Clank and Sunset Overdrive. I love Sucker Punch and Infamous, but the biggest disappointment for me with that series is that the open worlds were fairly shallow and not very interactive. I have no doubt Sucker Punch would have nailed the traversal and done well with the combat, but seeing the vibrant popping colours of this world, and hearing abou...
This has to be one of the most warped comments ever made on this site. Congrats.
It seems like your idea of megaton is what *you* consider to be megaton digimon, and not what is factual megaton digimon.
It is factual megaton digimon that a Spider-Man exclusive by Insomniac is something that's never happened before in the superhero game genre and a rare case of full creative freedom given combined with lots of resources. Sure we've seen creative freedom a fair amount of times in the past with Batman, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man Shattered Dime...
This is literally one of the most retarded opinions I've ever read. Must be salt.
You did know the creative talents behind the game right? Kojima, Del Toro, Norman Reedus, Junji Ito...
Who wouldn't want to see what that game could have been? Even it's most disappointing form would probably have destroyed most triple A horror games. P.T certainly made a name for itself just being a 'teaser'.
What we have to remember is that Konami sucks (insert vile phrases here).
I'm very happy it tried something different (which I mention in the piece - I have no qualms about games trying new things due to the vast freedom video games have creatively) and I've been a big fan of Remedy Entertainment since Max Payne, which means a decade of fandom.
While I haven't played the game, I'm not discussing the game's quality or gameplay mechanics, so I think it's okay. I'm merely talking about the 'idea' of integrating live...
Nice comment, thank you!
I totally agree. The gameplay of The Phantom Pain blew me away. I still want to play it more after 60 hours.
If you read my review, you can see exactly why the score is lower (because story in this series is so important to me), yet it's also stated in the review that if you move past the story, are mainly there for gameplay, then it's closer to perfection.
I acknowledge the brilliance of the gameplay, but was...
Well said, NSANiTY. Plus bubble. That's a lot of my opinion, conveyed above in the comment, in a very condensed manner :D
Good comment, thank you for taking the time as it will make for a nice discussion.
We disagree on a few things, and I do feel that you've strayed slightly from the topic. The message isn't don't tell *people* what they can and can't do in real life, it's don't tell content creators/artists what they can and can't do in works of fiction. Vital distinction.
Works of fiction should not have creative limitations. People being offended...
This comments section baffles me. All factual evidence we have from the four previous generations indicates that power alone hardly matters. The PS2 was the weakest console, and it won its generation by a country mile. The Wii was the weakest console of its generation, and it won. The PS4 Pro was weaker than the Xbox X, yet PlayStation dominated this generation with the best looking games. The Switch is the weakest of the consoles yet its a phenomenal success, doing what no handheld console h...
