Why wouldn't it be? It is an article pointing to another article with nothing to back it up.

So this article is using Washington Examiner as a source, which itself provides zero evidence of any of these claims.

Tactic? Exactly how is this tactical?

Activision is fighting because Microsoft vastly overpaid.

1163d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Of course nothing stops it if Microsoft wanted to offer Activision big time money.

But why would they do that? Didn't Phil Spencer say this was all about Candy Crush?

How embarrassing the lengths Microsoft has gone to try to get this deal to go through. Constantly bashing themselves. Constantly praising Sony.

To me it makes no sense. Isn't this just proof that the acquisition is proof of what of what the inquires are about?

Just because you aren't in first place, that doesn't make your gigantic purchase not anti-competitive.

As for putting work in...

That has always been in regards to building new IPs and building successful studios. Don't play stupid. Microsoft hasnt created a successful AAA game in a long long time and they haven't bukt any studios that have done anything special either.

Just because Sony can't defeat one particular franchise, doesn't mean they aren't putting any work in.

This can't be real. The game never should have been nominated.

People with brains split their votes among the true contenders. But then the idiots prevailed with their cutesy vote.

Nothing against the game, but come on.

If Microsoft really offered a 10 year agreement that just proves 2 things:
1. They know an anti-competitve issue and they are trying to appease it. Why else would they even make that offer?
2. Phil Spencer is just blowing smoke out his ass as usual when he said they have no plans to take the games off Playstation.

1167d ago 20 agree17 disagreeView comment

Author really wants to bash Sony as if Microsoft isn't doing the same thing. As if Microsoft didn't release a next gen consoles (Series S) that is barely better than one from last gen (One X).

Then talks about Phil Spencer seizing Sony's price hike... as if Sony's sales have gown down and Microsoft's has gone.

This site's own reviewer published his review literally 14 days ago.

So why is this dumbass author so surprised about this? Makes zero sense.

1171d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Well Xbox owners can look forward to Candy Crush exclusives.

1172d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

So, this is basically a 4.2% discount and this is a big deal?

1173d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Not sarcasm. They wrote that whole article just to say say basically "well this is proof that Microsoft that will keep COD on Playstation" which is stupid. Letting them put a 10 year old game (that literally is already on Playstation) on Gamepass has nothing to do with future new games from Bethesda.

1174d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

Was this really the whole point of the article "But if Skyrim can be on Xbox Game Pass' most direct competitor, the debate around Call of Duty seems null and void."

What a stupid argument.

1174d ago 2 agree3 disagreeView comment

First of all you're being dramatic about the state of their games.

Secondly, name a single franchise that Microsoft has ever taken over and saved? The truth is the opposite. Games they've taken over generally go down hill.

Excellent journalism.

Phil is one of the biggest liars in the industry. He says whatever is needed. Unless it is guaranteed in some manner, you can't trust them.
