None of what I said is "feelings", they are all facts. It all matters.
Part of the argument for Microsoft getting Activision is the mismanagement at Activision.
.
Riigght...because Microsoft knows how to manage gaming studios well. These layoffs are just more arguments against it.
Because the Activision and Bethesda purchases do indeed matter.
They claim these purchases are for the good of the industry. They claim it is good for gamers. They say it isn't anticompetitive.
But with Bethesda so far... what have they done that is good for anyone? Nothing. Have they done anything anticompetitive? Yes, they've already pulled games from Sony.
Fired a bunch of people. Nothing to show for games.
...
I agree that I wish both would stop doing it. But still comparing buying an exclusive or a timed exclusive to buying THE BIGGEST publisher... makes no sense. One is magnitudes worse.
I mean he is devious, but obviously neither the player or the main characters were fooled, other than a young child.
Is this site going to turn 1 Variety list into 10 different articles? There are many more gaming people on that list.
Quite a bold statement for a game we've seen hardly anything from.
Remember how many times you kept saying that MS wasn't making any Bethesda games exclusive or taking them from PS?
You going to keepp denying that even still even though it was clear already?
What benefit to consumers?
Right you're now say publishers are the same as studios.
Even if it was that simple... you're still suggesting that buying Bungie, who literally has 1 franchise, 2 games in total is comparable to around 50 franchises and hundreds and hundreds of games.
The comparison ends because they magnitude of difference is off the charts.
Yes, they honored only what they were forced to honor. Does nothing to counter my point.
Please stop comparing buying a studio to buying gigantic publishers.
Microsoft told the same thing to the EU about Bethesda games. It didn't make sense financially to pull games from other consoles they said. It wasn't viable.
Guess what they did?
You been living under a rock?
Microsoft bought one of the biggest publishers. They lied in defense of the deal. Now they're trying to buy the biggest one.
I don't have anything against adding an ad-based version for a cheaper offering. But as others have pointed out, this is likely going to mean an increase in price for the non-ad version. Microsoft has already admitted they will have to raise prices.
When studios put resources into this, that means they are not putting resources into new games that they could be.
So yes, it does affect others.
Twilight Princess has already been released on 3 generations of Nintendo consoles. Enough is enough. If you want to play it, buy one of those consoles or emulate it.
Because I'd rather play new games instead of playing a port (it isn't a remaster or remake) that is virtually the same as the old one.
Youre only providing evidence for my claims.
Sony is the one you want to attack over IPs? See Nintendo fan boys are off their rockers. Even Microsoft is better than Nintendo at new IPs.
Begging for a 3rd release of a game. Nintendo got you all hook, line and sinker.
I like the idea of the game not being included, solves the crying about digital vs physical game. But the price in this case is clearly ridiculous.
Suggest waiting until it goes on clearance like these things usually do.
Nah, they just go 1000% on buying IP. Great for the industry.
