Game development certainly is known for last minute crunch. But for them not to be able to show us anything at this point, that's a whole different story.

What was taken out of context?

When did Microsoft ever say that GP was making them money? They've specifically said that they aren't. That they will have to raise prices eventually.

The only news that came out recently was their admission that it hurts game sales, which they previously said the opposite.

ABSOLUTELY??? What happens if I don't watch? Do I die?

When did they say they'd go under? They didn't.

Why would they negotiate? Microsoft is trying to buy their way to success with trillions of dollars.

Courts already agreed Sony was right.

Nah it's magnified because they're a trillion dollar company, literally trying to spend 60 billion dollars to buy publishers, instead of spending that money to build games on their own.

Rowling only brought up 4 times. That's all you need to know about this review.

I purchased an Xbox One X in April 2019 for like $300+tax (plus I got $125 store credit at Meijer). I paid $100 for 3 years of gold and did the conversion for a dollar to get UGP for 3 years. When new systems came out, I was able to trade that One X basically straight up for a Series S. I've continued to use their GP promotions to get free months. My current sub runs through September 2023. I've literally bought 2 things (Minecraft Dungeons DLC and Doom Eternal DLC) straight up i...

Brought up Rowling twice, that's all you need to know about their bias.

What a terrible 3 reasons not to play: staggered release... cry about it. No co-op/multiplayer? Okay, so that reason applies to every single player game? Is that really a reason not to play a game? JK Rowling? Again, cry about it. Harry Potter isn't going anywhere.

I don't care one way or another for live service games. But there have been many successful ones have there not? What is the significance of these 2? Critically acclaimed? If you say so. Who cares. They didn't attract players.

No, it came with a lot of Ubisoft "Classics" (and then like Valhalla). But Ubisoft+ includes basically everything including new releases. Now PS+ tier has all Ubisoft+ included.

This is all based on the author believing that the Elseworlds doesn't apply to games. Gunn never said it did or didn't. So let's stop jumping to conclusions.

I doubt very much they will make all games stick to his version of things.

Jesus this has to be the biggest cry baby argument I've seen in a long time.

The franchise is staying with 343i, but the studio's roster is basically being replaced... so did Phil really choose the later?

343i was handed one of the greatest franchises in gaming history. They did nothing with it. So, they don't deserve any special status like they did something great.

Sony can have a war chest of IP.
Microsoft's purchase of THE biggest publisher can be anticompetitive.

Those things aren't exclusive.

Verizon has most cell phone users. If ATT tried to buy out TMobile... they can't say well Verizon has more users... so it isn't anticompetitive.

It is even worse for Microsoft because they are already one of the largest companies in the world. They are using that to try to make...

I like how someone responded to his "it doesn't make sense business wise to pull games from Sony" (paraphrased) with how they did that for Bethesda games already and all he responded with was "wat".

Yes, Microsoft would. This is Twitter. This ain't courts.

He literally started with "I hear".

Whether or not talent left Rare... Microsoft owns these IPs and they have done nothing with them.

A lot of people may not like it...

But the fact that it is successful ... means the fans like it.
