For all the uninformed people posting on here saying it's ridiculous to try and sue a company for stealing a game mode, that is not what this suit is about. The suit is about a breach in Bluehole's copyright for PUBG. Epic specifically used the name "PUBG" in an ad for Fortnite BR without talking to Bluehole which is why Bluehole actually had a legal leg to stand on here. Here is a link to the ad where PUBG is mentioned right at the beginning. 2814d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment
@ravinash I did not know that Epic and Bluehole were supposed to be partners which makes the situation even worse on Epic's part. Not to mention Bluehole is already paying out royalties to Epic for using their engine in the first place. So not only are the potentially stealing their gameplay elements, they are also charging them to use engine! Bluehole is at a severe disadvantage here all thanks to Epic. This is totally a corporate vs indie battle. Unfortunately for Bluehole, even if they...
I'm sorry @Nodoze but you are part of the problem. Stop supporting this crap. If you wanted a full fledged traditional Pokémon game, wait for them to make it. If they don't, don't give them your money. That is how Nintendo gets these dumb ideas in their head thinking people actually want this trash.
Besides the fact that your name is xboxfanboy, you also had to bring up that you're an Xbox fan? Why? What relevance does that have to the comment you replied to or the article? Smh...
Back to your comment, Pokémon fans will eat this garbage up. They eat all Pokémon related garbage up. Just like Nintendo fans in general. No this is not the Pokémon game anyone needs, let alone deserves. A Yellow remake similar to Heart Gold/Soul Silver is the game people deserve. An...
True sprinting by default could work. But then in those stealth scenarios where your in the grass it could give you away. Definitely could be a controller settings option for sure.
I can't wait until Nintendo releases a canon Zelda title with Linkle as the main character. What will you say then? Zelda is for feminists?
Also the games are nothing alike let alone clones. Clearly you have never played HZD or you would know that.
There is so much stuff that is wrong with your comment I don't know where to start. Boring to explore? BotW exploration is ten times more boring because all there is to find is shrines and korok seeds. And realistic graphics are all the sudden a bad thing? BotW looks like it should be on the PS2 and runs like it too, barely able to keep a solid 25 fps. I'm all for stylized graphics but to say that the realism in HZD actually takes away from the game is just wrong. You complain about t...
This comment doesn't make any sense. If anything, judging by the changes mentioned in the article, BFV looks more team oriented. Things like spawning in with less ammo/resources means team comp is going to be essential. Yes they made it so that anyone can heal but I imagine the medic revive will still be better. And I'm sorry but what is different about this game that makes it for the "CoD kiddies"? Sounds like you're just bashing for the sake of bashing it. I've bee...
@Skull I had the same issue with my ps4. For some reason downloads were taking exceedingly long for no reason but there are some workarounds I found online. I don't remember the specifics but I was able to manually configure some network settings to get it to download at decent speeds. Had to stop and start my connection a few times while it happened though. It's a weird issue but it stopped happening after I upgraded to the pro. Might be an issue with your PS4 rather than psn.
Why? Because most causals aren't thinking in terms of supporting/not supporting shitty practices. They are thinking "are my friends playing this game? If so I'll probably buy it so I can play with them". Clearly these games are very mp driven so it's no surprise they aren't including a campaign.
Exactly this. It's the same mentality some people here have about the single player vs multi-player argument. For some games pre-rendered cutscenes work well and some they are unnecessary. In some games multi-player works well and others it doesn't. It blows my mind that people make statements like this because it makes no sense. Why would anyone want LESS diversity in games? Smfh...
Bought mine for the same reason (love using it for Persona 5) but I totally agree, Sony had no idea what to do with it. And I feel like remote play is such an amazing feature and they totally flopped with it. If they put out a vita 2 with a set of buttons equivalent to the ps4 I would by that day one just for remote play alone. Still a great handheld for indies and ps1 classics though. That's mainly what I use it for now.
Yeah I feel like Nier and Persona 5 got the shaft just because they are like niche Japanese titles. Persona 5 was incredible. Easily my goty last year and probably one of my favorite games of all time. Agreed though. BotW got way too good of reviews for no reason at all. That game is a buggy empty mess of a checklist open world game. And I can't speak to GoW but people seem to really be enjoying it. I haven't heard a single bad thing about that game. That being said Horizon was a grea...
I definitely see some of your points although I thought the plot was really thought out with the evil artificial intelligence themes. I totally agree though the final boss fight was complete bullshit. It was literally just a bigger Deathbringer on a timer. Such an anticlimactic end. I do disagree with the battles being repetitive though. I played on the hardest difficulty available and I constantly felt like I was being challenged by the AI which I think is extremely commendable. Most game...
That and Cyberpunk. I couldn't get into the Witcher 3 for whatever reason but I feel like Cyberpunk is more up my alley. Also gameplay. Reveal trailers are cool and all but if there ain't gameplay don't show it!
Yeah the reason I went all digital is so I didn't have to carry multiple boxes of games every time I moved. And also because my physical game collection (which was a lot of older rare ps1 games) lost a lot of value once they started re-releasing digitally. That said I like my digital collection now. I know it's a mindset thing but I'm not concerned about the value of games anymore. When I buy it I'm expecting to have it forever without the option to trade in. I don't disag...
@dboyman For sure I totally agree with that. Your comment does not mention that aspect. I was merely replying about multi-player.
Seeing people like yourself clinging onto the fact that you "didn't have to pay for it before so it should always be free" is what is really sad. These companies have to pay to keep servers up and support their online infrastructure. Stop acting entitled like they are being anti-consumer just because you don't feel like you should have to pay for their services. It's no wonder Nintendo's online has been shit for years now. The sub is only going to give them more fund...
I wouldn't go as far as to say the Ds4 feels cheap. It's a great controller. But I absolutely love the Xbox One controller. Hands down one of the best controllers out there. Nintendo has had shit controllers since the Wii. It's a shame too because I'd love for them to do like a GameCube controller 2.0 kinda thing. Lost potential there imo.
Most people are like you when it comes to exclusives and console loyalty. N4G is notorious for being biased towards Sony so you have to factor that in when looking at comments here. The majority of people making decisions on which console to buy are usually basing that decision on where their friends are playing. I'll buy some games on Xbox because I know my brother will be there. Some I go PS4 because I have a few friends that play there. Thankfully most of my friends all own and primari...
