The banjo and the flute were terrible and went on waaaaaay too long. Maybe if they were playing during the trailer or something it would have been cool but nah they were just wasting time.
Sony lost to EA? Hahahahaha! EA's showing was straight garbage. I'm sorry but you're just flat out wrong.
Idk dude I mean don't get me wrong, Sony killed it with what they showed. Not only did they do never before seen games but they also had gameplay for everything which to me is all these things are about. If I'm being honest though MS showed me the stuff I really care about which was Devil May Cry 5, Sekiro and Cyberpunk. Sure we didn't get Cyberpunk gameplay but it was nice to see something. Granted I realize all of the games I listed are going to be multiplats which means Sony co...
EA was complete trash. If only they had announced Skate 4 hahaha. Didn't care too much for Bethesda except Doom (not a huge fan of their games I'll admit) but I'm curious about Starfield. ES6 was way too premature but I imagine they dropped that just to get people to stop asking. But I honestly thought MS and Sony both killed it. Sure we saw the big 3 from MS but they also gave us DMC5 and Sekiro with gameplay. Not to mention they clearly heard the feedback and showed all of the s...
@move I must be trash with him haha. I was able to do the Bloody Palace with Nero but couldn't do it with Dante. Is there like a different control scheme or something? I feel like taking my thumb off of the analog stick to switch stances always left me standing there like an idiot waiting to get hit. Maybe I just need to get better with him... 😔
Anybody else think The Quiet Man looks a lot like The Bouncer? Really pumped to see what comes of that game.
This! At first I was like who is this dude but as soon as I saw the arm and it dawned on me. With you @cyx, not sure why they changed his look but I'm definitely not gonna let it get in the way of how hype I am for this.
I honestly loved Nero in 4. His fighting style is so much more fluid than Dante's. I never really liked the stance switching with Dante. It wasn't as fluid as it needed to be for fast paced action. I constantly felt like the battle would stop while I switched stances. I'm way more excited to play as Nero again and if Dante is playable they really need to figure out a way to do the stance switching better. I liked in DmC where the trigger being held switched the weapon mid combat. ...
I'm interested. They didn't show the interceptor at all which bummed me out. But what I really wanna know is what the end game looks like. They barely gave us any information which sucked but at least we got a little more gameplay.
@Gh05t
I'm sorry but I completely disagree with you here. Being part of a mid sized company (around 15k or so people), we just started the process to move all of our data into the cloud and by no means are we an industry leader. Since the company is heavily reliant on technology, it's the only way for us to stay financially competitive. We spend so much money maintaining our on prem servers that we'll save billions moving our data into the cloud. Not to mention ...
You're cherry picking games right now though. I could do the same things with single player games. How much money did Knack 2, No Man's Sky or The Order make? See what I did? I took a bunch of single player games that weren't as successful and used them to make a point. In reality though, that doesn't prove anything. Those games didn't make money because they weren't great games. Games like God of War or Horizon make money because they are great games. Same goes for ga...
@kyro Yeah it's not like I love EA either but it doesn't look like a terrible game or anything. Not to mention that BFV feels like an apology from them for all the Battlefront stuff. My biggest gripe with BF1 was that the multi-player was segmented once dlc came out and at least in this one all dlc is free.
@hungryalpaca And your point is? Why put so much emphasis on historical accuracy now if no one ever cared about it before? Hell even BF1942 was historically inac...
I still don't see what is bad about the BF game we are getting. It does represent a war, WWII. Nobody ever said it was going to be 100% historically accurate. And I still believe a BR mode would work really well in a BF game.
Exactly why I put off buying a 1000 series card. If I'm gonna make the jump it's gonna be when cards can do 4k 100+ hz easy.
Is Nioh similar to Ninja Gaiden? I've heard comparisons between it and Dark Souls but that's about it.
The model has changed and MT are here to stay which, to me, is totally fine. Before this, a game would come out and that's it. Now, a game comes out, is constantly updated and new content/patches are added which enhance the game and give it additional longevity. If devs want to lock some cosmetics behind a pay wall that's perfectly acceptable because now devs have the added responsibility of maintaining their games after release. For the people that don't want to support it, they ...
Seriously. I would happily welcome another Ninja Gaiden. So over this copy cat bs that is happening right now. What doesn't make sense is how these devs think people are just going to up and drop a game they've put tons of hours into and switch to a similar new game. People invest a ton of time getting better at these pvp games and it's extremely difficult to convert them for no other reason other than some small differences.
Sure I'm not gonna pretend like I've been here since the beginning. My comment was more referring to the current state of the site and as it stands, yes the majority of comments you see in these forums are pro Sony/PS4. I was more just trying to clear up his confusion because he said "I never understood why people think exclusives are the only thing that matters" which, if you're only looking at N4G, people do think. Point being is that no, exclusives are not the only th...
Totally feel the Pokémon fatigue. Couldn't even finish X and Y and haven't picked one up since. Also anything Bethesda since Fallout 3. I know I'll get a ton of disagrees with that last statement but after Oblivion and Fallout 3, there really isn't any reason to play the sequels. They get more casual each iteration and are essentially the same thing reskinned.
I feel the complete opposite here. I never played tlou and tlou2 blew me away enough to want to go back and play the first one. I thought Death Stranding was still a cryptic mess which told us nothing. Sure there's a ton of walking, and a baby strapped to your chest? And shadow monsters. Literally still no real information about what the game is. All that said, Spiderman was amazing. All of that gameplay was looking phenomenal and I'm totally ready for it.
