Dude I'm wondering the exact same thing. Who gives a shit if Skyrim is on the Switch it's a 5 year old fucking game! Regardless of it being the remaster it's still nothing spectacular. Red Dead 2 would have been way more impressive to see. It's the Wii U all over again only instead of it being Mass Effect 3 it's Skyrim.
I agree man. We practically already knew everything in the trailer given the heavy rumors pointing towards console/handheld hybrid and detachable controllers. The fact that Nintendo took so long to say anything about the damn thing and then go and release a 4 minute trailer to reveal it makes me speculate even further. We still know hardly anything about the console and the trailer didn't wow me at all. Very disappointing.
Combining mobile with TV is not cool! It wasn't cool when Nintendo did it with the GBA player for Gamecube, it wasn't cool when early PSPs had an HDMI out port and it definitely wasn't cool with the stupid Fisher Price piece of garbage tablet they attached to the Wii U. The NX will be no different. At this point I'm hoping the NX fails just so Nintendo can finally be done once and for all. And yes I am a butthurt Wii U owner if you couldn't already tell.

Agreed man. Not much to miss at all. The Wii U has shit all and I owned a 3ds for years and I can't think of a single memorable game that I would buy it again for.
While I agree that D3 pales in comparison to D2, I still did play a ton of D3, despite it's shortcomings. Wrong. I'm not a fan boy of either side and I totally understand the community's frustration for Sony not including a UHD player. Stop trying to defend Playstation and just accept that Sony made a dumb decision. This was a whole big thing when MS didn't add a Blu-ray player to the 360 so why is it any different now? I agree that it was definitely played and looked great but god damn the humor was cringy! More quest variation definitely would have helped but the deal breaker for me was the trying way too hard to make the game funny. I might have laughed once during the entire playthrough of the game. Agree with you 100%. It's like game developers have stopped taking risks and started trying to make us focus on the visuals more than the actual game itself. It's why I basically only play indies at this point. I want new concepts, new characters and new universes to explore. Axiom Verge, Undertale, Super Time Force, Binding of Isaac, Transistor. The list goes on. All amazing games/experiences and didn't need any previous installments to sell. Granted none of them are the pretties...
If turn based combat isn't an integral part of the essence of Final Fantasy and it's all about the fantasy, magic and story aspects, why don't they just stop making it a game all together and just make it a super action packed movie? Why shouldn't we be complaining? WE are giving them OUR money. They need to start considering what we want or we will stop supporting them, simple as that. If I don't think something is worth spending my money on it, I won't. They should take our complaints into consideration because we're the ones who ultimately keep them afloat, not the other way around.

I don't think Nintendo cares at all about what MS and Sony are doing in the console space. They clearly are focusing all of their efforts on the handheld market and all rumors have been pointing to that prior to the reveal of the PS4 pro. They aren't going to magically whip a high powered home console out of nowhere just because Sony decided to release a slightly more powerful PS4.
