@ThatOneRiggaNob Here is how it hurts all gamers. I own a ps4, my buddy owns a Switch and my brother play on Xbox. I can't play with my friend or brother because of Sony's choice to keep the wall up. I AM A PS4 OWNER. This hurts my friend, my brother and myself. All of us on different platforms, all of us do not benefit from this decision.
This decision is bad for gamers all around. I AM a ps4 owner. I switched at the beginning of this gen because of some exclusives I wanted to play. All of my friends on Xbox, including my brother, I can't play with. This is hurting me, A PS4 OWNER! So are you saying I should go out and buy an Xbox then? Your logic makes absolutely no sense.
This argument is irrelevant. It doesn't matter how large ps4's community is. There is still a wall between them and everyone else. I've given this example multiple times. I primarily play on ps4. My brother, on the other hand, is on Xbox. We can't play together because of this. Having a 80 million other people to play with means nothing to me because I'm still unable to play with my bro. Evidence right there that this issue does hurt everyone, not just people on platforms ...
Anyone know what the performance differences look like between PC, the X and the Pro? Wondering if the Pro will be 4k 60fps or else I might go PC.
Spot on dude. SE is the worst when it comes to this. It's like they keep throwing all this junk at us hoping something sticks when in reality all we want is an updated form of ATB.
That said I'm definitely gonna pick this up. I had a blast with P5 and I'm jonesing for another turn based game.
PC was able to transition into all digital before consoles not because of steam but because PC games used CD keys. Even with physical sales you would just open a box and it would give you a CD key. So there never really was a used games option like with console. And the used game market is still huge so that'll stop the all digital movement until companies start selling CD keys instead of actual games.
Definitely wait on building a pc. You'll pay top dollar for a setup that can do 4k 60 fps. I'd wait until Nvidia drops the 1180 TI. Plus monitors that can handle those fps and res are super expensive right now. But dude seriously get one. PC all day err day.
@kevnb Yup my thoughts exactly. Nvidia will definitely have out the Volta cards by then and probably the TI upgrades as well. I'd imagine it won't take a super beastly pc to get that performance when the game finally releases.

Butthurt Sony fanboys. You'll hear things like "Sony doesn't need cross play they are the industry leader right now" and "This would only help the competition why would Sony want to do that". Console war trash. Cross play is for everyone, not just people on Xbox, Switch and PC. I'd love to be able to play Rocket League with my brother but I'm marooned on PS4 while he is on Xbox.
Looks interesting with the new Power and Speed gear mechanics. Really wish Capcom would just bite the bullet and give us a new X game but I have to admit this looks good.

I mean a stable 30 frames is totally playable. Horizon on the pro looks great and doesn't "play like a slideshow". And all the footage we saw of Spiderman was 4k 30fps. I definitely wouldn't wanna play an fps game in 30fps though but for a slow paced survival horror like RE2 it will look fine.
I'm definitely most disappointed about not seeing Prime 4. I just don't understand how they could not show anything or even mention it at all. It makes me wonder why they even showed it last E3.
Honestly MS made a huge effort at E3 to prove to it's consumer base that they are invested in first party, exclusive and single player gaming experiences. They clearly heard the feedback and are adjusting. That is why I think they did a really good job. Not to say that Sony didn't, but Sony definitely came off very cocky with their presentation. Specifically the musicians taking up too much time before actually showing the games.
If anything, they should have used a word that didn't begin with a U. Because Super Smash Bros U is extremely similar to Super Smash Bros Ultimate and to me that makes it seem like it's a port of U but with added stuff.
