Its not about bunny hopping its about being able to scale obstacles. For instance "ooh look a 3ft high wall I'll have to walk down it to find a lower point, I couldn't possibly scale that" yes thats right in a real combat sitaution thats what I'd do yeah! or perhaps "oh look a bush I can't walk through, I'll need to find a way around" yeah thats what I'd do in a real combat situation.

I never mentioned MW2, there are things in that game I don't like either ...

Its odd how things are slowly changing. A year ago all my sons friends were looking to buy 360's and now a year on most have opted for the PS3 instead. I still do a lot of gaming on my 360 for its great exclusive's like Forza 3 but I am spending more and more time on the PS3 lately.

I don't see Microsoft dropping 32 Bit support for another couple of generations of their OS as many businesses will not upgrade their PC's

"However the fact is if you build it, they will come" that is no defense for poor integrity and a seeming wilful desire to portray almost every move acompany makes in a negative way. The Sunday Sport dreamed up such articles as a London Bus found on the moon as well as many more outlandish stories and headlines. They sell copies so its a popular paper for some but does that mean every newspaper should operate in that way?

Its not about Kotaku being 'a 360 site' I don't think that but I do know its heavily biased when writing about Sony. Opinion pieces are fine but when you keep posting the same negative spin on everything a person or company does then it goes beyond being opinion piece and becomes more like a vendetta. Before the 'dot com' boom there was a little bit more integrity in the printed media. With the ability for anyone to register a domain name and have a site up and running in minutes it has prett...

What a surprise a Kotaku article and yet another thinly veiled slight against Sony. They really need to get over themselves over the whole falling out with Sony thing and get back to honest reporting. I really enjoyed Killzone 2, got into the storyline yet Halo ODST was a chore, a chore to complete the game because I'd completed the others and wanted to see where the storyline took me. It was repetitive walking back and fore through the same map thats where I went but I guess the horribly sho...

Warhawk for £7.99 is a bargain as is GT5P for £14.99

I enjoy playing Forza 3 and GT5P, both have their good points but for me in GT5P I feel more hooked up to the car, more immersed and able to feel what the car is doing in GT5P.

I had three games on the trot ruined by these glitches. IW really messed up with MW2's multiplay. It seems people find new glitches daily.

If it were done at the XMB or Dashboard level then you could save profiles. So for instance you have a custom map for MW2 and one of Forza 3. The profile app at the XMB/Dashboard would load your custom map each time you put the MW2 disk in the drive and until you deleted that profile or opted to reset to default and the same each time you put the Forza 3 disk in. Whether the developer allowed it or not would not matter as it would be done outside of the game.

Its really something Microsoft could do at the dashboard and then it doesn't matter what developers do. Its something that would help disabled and able bodied gamers alike and with so much legislation to help disabled people I don't understand why more is not done to help gamers.

Wasn't WASD default in Wolfenstein 3D and Doom? I've always used WASD since Wolfenstein 3D so assumed it must have been that way as default.

Many people were very happy with Forza 3 when it released and with the content. You don't have to buy the DLC, nobody is holding a gun to your head so enjoy Forza 3 with all the content it had at release, enjoy the free cars they have given away.

I build systems for gaming and business and while that is a decent price its a barebones spec and does nothing for me without seeing some benchmarks in some of the games PC only gamers hold so dear such as Crysis or Armed Assault (I game on a PC, PS3 and 360) Quoting the student discount price for the OS doesn't cater for the average user and Linux is really not an option as much as I'd love that to be the case. The majority of first time PC buyers don't have a monitor where as they will almo...

At first I thought it was a great idea but then came the realisation that Metacritic was flawed, not as a site but the fact its data was flawed. As others have pointed out some games take reviews from obscure sites and sometimes even mainstream sites are overlooked if they score a big title poorly. From the outside looking in you could say there was some bias going on there but at the very least you have to accept the site's data is flawed. Too many commercial sites out there now that you jus...

The Wii was a fantastic system for Nintendo. They were struggling against Microsoft and Sony who were going for raw power in their consoles. Nintendo devised something quite brilliant with the motion control, they thought outside the box quite literally designing a control system linked to what is essentially an overclocked GameCube. Sony and Microsoft were always going to follow this and in a way Sony was half way there with the SixAxis controller they just never saw the potential like Ninte...

I imagine what really is frustrating to a developer is when large chains like GAME and Gamestation actively push used copies. 8 out of 10 times I've taken a new game to the counter to pay and they have asked if I'd prefer a used copy.
