There is free roam and there are "side missions" and by that I mean, crimes will come over the Radio and you can deal with them if you want or ignore them and carry on with the main missions.

From what I've read its seems sony's idea of computer security is someone lacking, compared to other companies.
If my bank lost my money becuase it wasn't secure you bet I'd be pissed off with my bank.
If Sony are going to store our information they are responsible for its security, hence why the big coorperations get into a lot of trouble when there is a breach.

Yes we can't comment on any innovations BF3 has made becue no ones actually played it, yes the grpahics are nice, but we havn't seen the new frotbite engine in full effect, nor any console versions.
We have no idea what BF3 will bring to the MP table, so until then you can't comment.
If you compare BF 1942 to BF:BC2, I wouldn't say there is a lot on innovation, things have been tweaked here and there, but it's still relatively the same, yo...
